Nh Sur - Madrid

The hotel is centrally located, just opposite Madrid Atocha train station. It's also close to major attractions, all within walking distance. The room is neat and clean. Would like to stay at the same hotel if I return to Madrid.

Nice hotel, close to Atocha railway station but not at all far from central Madrid. A little minus though that there was a fee using computer in the lobby. But overall a good and nice hotel.

This hotel is in front of Madrid Atocha train station which is hub of all trains departed from Madrid. I did day trip to Toledo and Segovia from Madrid, so it was very convenient. Also the hotel is very close to the city's three most famous are museums. Therefore location was really good. However, single room I had was very very tiny. We just stayed at this hotel for one night on a stopover from Valencia to Madrid Barajas airport. It was clean and comfortable albeit the rooms were a bit small, but totally fine for a night. It's not right where I would want to stay in Madrid if i was there for longer - we'd stay nearer to Plaza Mayor - but it is just great for a stopover.

The hotel is directly across the street from the main train station and also the bus that will take you to the airport for 5 Euro. It is very nice to get dropped of their from the airport. The hotel has thin walls so it is not quiet at night, aslo my room faced the train station so their were taxi's honking their horns all night. There is also a metro […] right outside the hotel door which was great. The rooms were the typical small European hotel rooms but it was big enough. They leave you a toothbrush/paste, shower cap, shampoo and body soap. The only thing they ever refilled was the soap. I was there 6 nights and they never replaced the toothbrush or shower cap. Pros: they let me check in at 0930, room was clean, very close to Prado and Atocha train station, can go for a nice run in the Parque del Retiro just round the corner. Cons: room was very small and felt kind of institutional. Internet was stupidly expensive, 10 Euros/day for "economy" connection. But I think that's normal for Madrid, unfortunately.

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Madrid. Near the station for metro's. Walkable to the Prado and other museums too. Walkable to the main Plaza's. Perfect for getting around Madrid. Lots of nice Bodega's around too for non expensive but lovely meals. The only down side was the beakfast which was not worth 16 Euro's. We had booked room only but […] decided on our last day to have a breakfast in the hotel before we left but in hind sight we should have just went to one of the local places to eat as we had done before. We booked a double bed room through Expedia. When we arrived we discovered our room had twin beds. Reception claimed that Expedia had never passed on our request for a double bed. They could only offer us a smoking double bed room, which stank horribly of stale tobacco smoke, as an alternative, which we rejected. Location is ideal if all you want is stay overnight as near as possible from Atocha rail station, but beware you need to use the right station exit or else you will be in for a lengthy walk around Puerta de Atocha as the station is huge and it has many exits in all directions, thus discounting the proximity factor. Overpriced for a functional, ugly 3-star which proved very difficult to find in the dark. Ask them for a discount and do contact them direct to make sure you get a double bed, as otherwise you won't. Nh Sur is ideally located between the 2 Atocha metro stops across from the main train station, making this an easy departure point for getting in and out of Madrid and traveling within Madrid. Great spot and nice rooms for the price, let down by poor service - no iron, you have to pay for laundry service which means (apart from the price) waiting for a day; expensive internet; ability to hear dubbed English language films in English (common in Spain) disabled so you're forced to buy pay to view films.

We took a taxi to the hotel from the airport paying about 20 Euros. The taxi driver wasn't familiar with the hotel, but we found it with little difficulty after pointing out on a map we brought how close it was to the Altocha station. Check in was smooth if a little slow. The hotel's location is fabulous, although there weren't as many nearby eateries […] as I'd expected after reading other reviews. Still, a 10-minute walk yielded some great finds. The hotel is better than one can expect for the very low rate. It really is a good deal, and the room was good, even more comfortable than I expected for our one-night stay. The room was a little old and maybe a little dusty, but the bed was comfortable enough with crisp white linens, and the location was fabulous, as we walked with our luggage to catch the train from the Altocha station to Barcelona. We had difficulty locking our door, but discovered a trick to get it to lock. The location is great because of the proximity to the train station and Prado. We found the small lobby and breakfast area to be comfortable. We did not eat the breakfast but saw others enjoying hot food along with fresh pastries. We took advantage of the free 30-minute blocs of wifi access (accessible only in the lobby area) to catch up on email. Overall a great hotel for a short stay and would choose to stay there again. マドリッドに到着したのが夜だったので少しわかりにくかったが、空港から国鉄を利用してアトーチャ駅したが、駅のそばだったので地上を通って5分でたどり着けた。翌日明るくなってから駅まで行ってみたら、なんと1分もかからずに地下鉄アトーチャ・レンフェ駅への出入り口まで行けることがわかった。隣にはプエルタ・デ・アトーチャ駅（中・長距離用）があるのでＡＶＥなど鉄道を利用して遠くへ出かけるにも大変便利。ホテルは大通りに面しているが、部屋は通りと反対側で大変静かであった。（窓からの景色は期待しない）今回バスタブ付きシングルだったが、一人で過ごすにはちょうどよかった。洗面所の備品で歯ブラシがあったことには驚いた。ただ、バスタブがやや小さく全身でつかることができなった。朝食はついていなかったので、7時過ぎにアトー […] チャ駅まで行ってチュロスとコーヒーの食事をとった。（わずか2.2ユーロでおいしかった） Pročitajte više

アトーチャ駅からすぐの場所にあるため、大きな荷物を持っている人、ホテルの場所を探すのが不安な人には大変便利です。プラド美術館も植物園も数十メートルの範囲内にあります。繁華街（ソル）や王宮も、少し頑張れば歩いて行けます。部屋の照明はやや暗いです。廊下からの音がよく聞こえますが、部屋からの音漏れはほとんど無いようです。セビリア出張の前後泊に利用しましたが、前泊はバスタブ付、後泊はシャワーブースのみでした。シャワーブースは男性にはかなり狭いです。朝食は新鮮なハムやチーズ、ヨーグルトがありますが、生野菜はほとんど無いものと覚悟された方が良いでしょう。フロントはとても親切で、前泊時、午前中の到着にも拘らず、チェックインさせてもらえました。セキュリティも不安を全く感じませんでした。

Elegí el hotel por estar ubicado frente a la estación de Atocha porque al siguiente día tomaba el tren. El hotel por fuera no es muy lindo pero mi habitación fue adecuada y estaba limpia. El problema fue que a la mañana siguiente mientras guardabamos nuestras cosas para irnos, una mujer abrió la puerta de nuestra habitación. Lo comenté con la persona […] de recepción y dijo que era imposible que la tarjeta de otro huesped abriera nuestra puerta.
