My room was on the 1st floor and had sealed double paned windows for a reaosn--the noisey alley and the night club revellers out till dawn. The room was cold and tired looking. on day 5 they strated painting a nearby room and that proved unbearable and allowed me to relocate to a much better room on the 4th floor. The Hotel Windsor is like stepping back in time to 'Old world charm and grace'. High teas, horse drawn carriages, beautiful people.
