A very nice hotel in a great situation with its own beautiful secluded beach. The hotel was very busy but this didnt interfere with the holiday experienc. Quite expensive and also as you have to use a taxi if you want to eat out at night this ads to the overall cost.

Functional rooms, comfortable beds, all amenities available such as tea/ coffee, mini fridge, bathroom amenities. Nice restaurants to choose from but can be expensive. Nice pool and nice clean beach with ample sun lounges. Plenty of sport activities such as basketball, chess, mini golf, archery, boxing, tennis, rock climbing wall, which were all free […] and massages on the beach which was reasonably priced. Our stay at the Le Meridian was absolutely fantastic. The view from our room, staff service and general upkeep of the hotel was perfect - I read a few reviews sating it was a bit run down, but this was not my opinion at all. The amount of activities available could keep anyone entertained for their entire trip and there ia a large choice of restaurants […] for dinner (although they are quite expensive). A wonderful get away for six days. This hotel is truly magical, you feel like a VIP, the private beach within close proximity to the pools and bars in between are outstanding. It felt like we were away for weeks, we will definitely be returning!

We spent 11 lovely days and had a great time. Staff excellent, food excellent. The private beach is great too. There is a dive shop and we got our open water tickets. We can highly recommend this hotel. The only problem was the aircond broke in our room. The next day we asked for a new room and they moved us no problems. I would have loved for my room to be ready before 2pm - we arrived at midday and had to wait 2 hrs in the bar, even though it was nice to have a free prosecco glass and a fresh towel to refresh. Everyone was extremely nice and polite, too. I'd say the shower was superb - cascade shower jet, huge cabin. I'd have enjoyed a better hairdryer (it was OK […] but not very powerful) but overall the room was very good. The bed was especially comfy and large and the intelligent lighting switchboard was v clever. We arrived at about 8.30 pm local time on Monday 5th November 21012. it was dark, but the approach to the hotel was pleasant with the security guards standing to attention and throwing up a smart salute, at the hotel entrance, the taxi doors were opened and awarm welcome was made. The Staff removed our baggage from the car and escorted us to the reception […] area where we were welcomed with small floral arm bands of fresh flowers, cleansing towels and a refreshing soft drink. After being booked in we were escorted to our room. Our luggage was already in the room. We were shown the facilities.Sheets and towels were supplied daily and the room inspected daily inspection by a supervisor. The room was on the 3rd floor,was large and came with a balcony overlooking one of the swimming pools and onto the private beach. The whole resort ws clean and beautifully maintained.. Breakfast was more than adequate for us. with a great choise and variation. The food in theRestaraunts, the food was excellent. The beach was a private area was clean and no "looky-looky men"! There were plenty of sun beds, free of charge. If extra shade was needed then there was an area between the pool and the beach under the palm trees. There were ample sports available, all free of charge. The trainers and life guards were extremely vigilant.The Hotel's own taxi service, which was compaible in price to the local taxi's, they were cleaner and the drivers were a lot smarter and better drivers. . My husband and I just enjoyed 9 nights at Le Meridien. We also took our 9month old son. We were after a hotel that had everything so we didn't need to leave much if we didn't want to. We ate in most of the hotels restaurants, all were lovely. Great buffet breakfast everyday, and the themed buffet dinners each night, complete with dancers and flame throwers, […] were fantastic. This was my second time to Phuket, and I enjoyed it so much more because of this hotel. The feeling of old world luxury is everywhere, and the staff were just gorgeous. We used the hotel babysitting service a couple of times with no issues. The tour desk was very helpful too - we decided we wanted to go to Phi Phi at 3pm one day, and they were able to arrange it so that we went the next morning. They use preferred suppliers for the tours so you aren't going to get anything dodgy. I also recommend the day spa and beauty salon - they're a bit pricier than the local salons in Patong, but the quality is very worth it. Other services such as the private car service (which surprisingly is the same price as a tuk tuk!), the sporting activities, and even the baby elephant by the pool everyday, all made it such a special holiday for us. We're already planning our next trip back to Le Meridien! My only minor thing that I think they could've done better was to mop the floor of our hotel room. While the rooms are serviced twice a day (very handy with a baby!), they didn't mop the floor once while we were there. Pročitajte više

This hotel was recommended by my daughter and her family who stayed in July. It is a great hotel for anybody - has everything! Beach, pool, spa, restaurants and cafes, great location and if you feel you need a shopping 'hit' then Patong is just a few short minutes away by cab OR you can walk (wouldn't recommend it - no footpath and traffic comes close). This was our 2nd trip to Le Meridien this year. This time our 10 and 14 yo children came with us. Again we loved everything about the resort, except the disappointing surprise that the large pool was closed for tiling, and the lifts in the Chuba Wing were being replaced, and therefore down to 1 lift. We understand that upgrades need to happen, but some […] warning about it would have been good. The beach here is fantastic, and totally private. Our kids went between the beach, pool, table tennis, mini golf, driving range, scuba, etc etc. It is only a few minutes by transport into Patong and Karon, and a little further to Kata. Not a guinuin 5 star hotel or not anymore at least, more like a 2 star hotel. Half the hotel rooms (pool view rooms) have supposidly been renovated (cosmetic coverup is more like it) but you could still see and feel they are old. Hallways are old and smell bad. Nothing was too much trouble for the very attentive and happy staff. The restaurants were excellent and the food presented at breakfast was very varied. There were people there from all over the world and all were catered for. The spa was excellent - we were their 11 days 4 at a conference and has a fantastic experience.

If you are looking for a resort where you don't have to leave as it has everything then this is a fantastic resort with a great beach, huge pools, very nice and knowledgeable staff and several eating and dining options. An unexpected pleasure was my daughter having a trial scuba dive in the pool, we then both went to the dive school on the resort and […] then both booked into get our scuba qualifications over 3 days. This involved a day of dives in the pool and 2 days of island scuba. Magnificent. Massages and beauty treatments were excellent. If you walk up the hill to the entrance you can get your laundry do e cheaply and there are also a couple of masage places which are very good. The breakfasts are varied and delicious. The hotel needs some upkeep - I came to Le Meridien when it first opened about 20 years ago :) There is a big issue with plumbing - the water pools up in showers and the toilets block. The staff however, are extremely pleasant and helpful - still a great resort holiday.

Very nice resort, top of the line facilities. Good location - just few minutes from pa-tong. Good starting point for trips around the island. A little expensive restaurant and spa - requires using external restaurants and spa.

THE LACK OF ELEVATORS MEANS A LONG WALK EACH TIME FOR BREAKFAST ETC,LIFTS AT EACH END OF EACH BLOCK WOULD SERVE ADMIRABLY. fROM OUR FIRST STAY IN 1992, THE HOTEL HAS RETAINED MANY OF ITS GOOD FEATURES,ALTHOUGH NOW THE NROOMS HAVE BECOME A LITTLE DATED. but a fine place and a great beach.

I have never been to Phuket, Thailand and this was my first stay in the area. This hotel was a little too pricey compared to the rest but every single dime you would spend here is definitely worth it. I have traveled to a lot of countries before and my stay at this hotel was one of the best ones I've had so far. From the superb quality of their staff […] and service to all the amenities were great. Usually, I would go to different places to acquire services but I didn't need to at Le Meridien. I had my hair and nails done here, had a 4hr luxury SPA, the food were delish, cocktail drinks were well-made, the sands at the beach were cotton-soft and clean, pool water was warm and they booked our tour for us which includes transfer to and from the hotel. The only negative description I could share would be the toilet water and bathroom tiles in my room. Toilet water flushed brown at first and then after a few more flushes, it became clear. As for the tiles, it looks moldy but it's really not moldy. It just needs a little upkeep or they could probably just re-install new tiles. Pročitajte više
