Beside not emptying my garbage and replace my towel. It was a pleasant place due to the location was in the middle of everything. Nice location.

Being there on business, it was a good price for a room I did not get to spend much time in. It was very hot while I was there and the pool was very appreciaited. It was not over chlorinated.

the hotel needs to work a little harder on cleanliness. The bathroom was okay. If they clean the bathrooms better, the stay would've been great. Service was good. Parking is free, so that is always a plus. I hate paying $20+ to park at a hotel.

Office help was rude. A/C didn't work properly, very loud & spastic. Street noise very loud. WIFI was near non-existent.

Disappointed; no closet to hang my clothes, holes in the bathroom wall where the closet set up USED to be, both chairs in room were stained, halls and elevator were scuffed and dirty. I was called at 4:00 am for a wake up call that was supposed to be at 6:00 am, tv remote barely worked. Will not stay here again.

Overall great place to stay. The Maintenence of the exterior of the hotel needs a little work, but inside the rooms were SUPER clean and very comfortable beds. Lots of big pillows and fluffy bedding. The Hotel staff was great. Especially their front desk clerk, Aaron! Very helpful and nice! We asked about places to go have dinner or have a good time […] and he took the time to make us a huge list and called each place to find out closing times. He warned us against where not to go and made sure we knew about all the good spots at night. Great employee! He deserves a raise! Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Pročitajte više

I attended a law student review weekend (and extremely long exam) and chose Vagabond having used them in the past for leisure purposes, and this was about a 5 minute drive to the convention center and downtown...the room was very clean and comfortable...My only complaint would be that the outside noise level (street, people, other rooms) was a little […] loud...I have heard that the rooms in back are better. And also the internet was a little spotty at times. Beyond that, everything was great, The employees and manager were friendly and helpful. Free breakfast had a good selection. I stayed on the third floor with a King bed. The room and a bed were clean and comfortable to staying there for three nights. The location was perfect for me to walk to Caltech campus every day. I could have a continental breakfast which is good for free.

The office personnel were extremely helpful, and t he breakfast was good. However, at the desk in the room I was planning on doing some writing and the light over it was up in the ceiling and was yellow. Not very good for doing any writing, so I had to forego that idea. Otherwise, it was o.k.

The room was clean but the AC wouldn't stay on. It was in an economy mode and wasn't on prior to my check-in so the room was blazing hot when I checked in. It never cooled off and I had a hard time sleeping in a hot room.

I stay in this hotel whenever I visit Pasadena because of proximity of my business place. But it's not that simple reason. This hotel is inexpensive, and clean and comfortable relative to the cost. Hotel service does not bother guests and mostly kind.

I only stayed at this hotel because it was walking distance from where I needed to be and every 3* hotel or higher star hotel near where I needed to be was booked. Overall it was slightly above what you would expect for a motel, but I found it drabby and musty. Also, the part of town it was in did not seem very safe. We were visiting family in Pasadena and stayed here. Not a luxury hotel but much better than your average "one night stay" motel. The breakfast was very good, not just pastries--waffles, bagels, hard boiled eggs, cereal/oatmeal, gourmet coffee and juice. The room was quiet and comfortable, great HD tv and free wireless internet.

We wanted a hotel in the northwest region of LA as a base for visiting people. For the extras we were looking for, this was the perfect location. We stayed for one night. We had a room with a connecting door. With noisy guests next door. The Shower and bed were great. We didn't get chance to try the breakfast but it is on a par with places like the Comfort Inns. Fresh fruit, bagels, coffee etc.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel given the room rate in this high-rent neighborhood. Our only problem with the room was the AC which was very loud and kept going on and off throughout the night, waking us up periodically. Dave at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was yummy, the waffles had a very nice fruit topping of strawberries and currants. The room was clean and nicely furnished. On the whole a good experience, good breakfast, staff attentive and friendly, but seemed a bit uncertain when to clean/not clean room. No restaurant and not much within walking distance.

This hotel looked great on the outside but the room we had was dingy and gross. My wife, our seven week old son, and I stayed here so we could be on time to family event. The elevator was small, slow, and smelled unpleasant; the hallways were dimly lit in spots and could stand a power wash. The sheet had stains on it and the room had a persistent smell […] that never went away. The cleanest spot in the room was the bathroom which had great fixtures. To bad the rest was unpleasant. The Vagabond is well positioned and reasonably priced. We thought it was fine for our visit. We had one glitch - which was the Wireless connection in the room was lost - the hotel finally offered a hardwire connection for the rest of our stay. We would go there again.

We flew into LA stayed overnight at the Vagabond and Pasadena then moved North up the coast worked out well.

We visit the Pasadena area about once a year to visit relatives. This motel is conveniently located and economical, but not fancy. The rooms have large flat screen TV's and everything you need for spending the night, but no luxury. The rooms in front were noisy our last stay. You may want to ask for a room in the back.
