Colony Inn - Buena Park

Very friendly staff; close to Knotts Berry Farm. Hotel was clean and decent. Price was reasonable. Good place to stay for and be next to Knotts. Will stay again.

The tv remote did not work but the location was great

This motel is a good value. The staff was friendly, room was good but old and it was generally clean. Motel is located just across the parking lot from Knott's and very convienent. My wife said she'd rather stay here than another motel down the street closer to the park because she liked it better. 'Nuff said

Got in late due to heavy LA traffic, the gentleman at the front desk was friendly, courtious and gave me directions to a couple locations I was interested in going to. The room was clean and I was happy to see a refrigerator for the few items I had brought with me and a coffee pot for the early morning I was expecting. They also have cereal, danishes, […] muffins, toast and juice for a quick on the go snack in the mornings. My kids and I were happy with the room and the price. I would definitely stay again. Overall stay was good. Helpful friendly staff. Hotel seems older but well maintained. The room smelled a bit musty when you first walk in. The beds were comfortable. Rooms not large but adequate. Close to Knotts Berry Farm. I would stay there again.

The property was well managed. Staff was very courteous & friendly

I've stayed here 3 different times and each room either had a coffee pot, radio clock or none at all. At least these 3 different rooms I stayed at had a fridge. I presume the coffee pot, radio clocks are being stolen by the guest. Right across from Knott's Berry Farm and cheap so I'll continue to consider this hotel.

When we first arrived we were only given 1 key. When I asked for a 2nd key he said no because his "keying" machine wasn't working. No big deal. When we got to the room the key didn't work. After we got a new one we went in. I went to wash my hands and there was a dirty hand towel. The toilet was also dirty. When I went to bed i looked at the pillow […] and the pillow case was dirty. A fair size room, smelly but clean; The key never worked the 2nd day, degaussed by itself somehow; convenient location, 10 minute drive to Disney parks;

Not bad when you consider the price but it would be nice if the cold water in the sink worked. My poor kids were afraid of getting burned. Would pay extra for a better place...

I almost didn't stay here because of some of the reviews, since it was just one night I decided to try it out. I didn't experience anything negative. Staff was not very friendly.. Room was clean but just dingy. Does not really look like they take pride in the hotel.. It is walking distance to Knotts and really that is all we needed.

We were going to Knott's Halloween Haunt so we needed a place close by. It was within walking distance right across the street from Knott's. This was a bit of a last minute outing to the local amusement park across the street for a night of fun ... The inn keeper was pleasant and nice. No rush! Convenient and close by to Knotts, this is an older motel that lacks a few amenities such as modern furnishings and newer tv sets, but nevertheless was satisfactory as we only used it for an overnight stay. Some negatives are the pool is not heated and the outdoor jacuzzi was not working. The hotel met our needs, plus they were friendly. For the price you can not get much better.

Room was clean and confortable, came here because we went to Knotts halloween haunt, location and price was great. saved us the hassle of driving back home after a long night!

If you need a cheap hotel by Knott's Berry Farm for one night, ok. The shower water came out rusty when first turned on. Spots on walls. Bed was comfortable.

For the very low price this hotel exceeded my expectations. The bathroom was clean, the beds comfortable, the staff helpful, and the location is perfect for Knotts berry farm. My only comment is that there was no light in the bathroom, so you had to keep the door open a little weird. Overall, this was a great value and I will happily stay again.

The room was a little bit small for me personally but I wasn't looking for a fancy hotel, just wanted a place close to Knott's Berry Farm (this was within walking distance) that wasn't expensive. I was definitely not impressed with this hotel. First thing that we noticed, the bath and shower water was not warm at all, it was luke warm at the hottest setting. Then it was supposedly a smoke free room, but there were cigeratte burns on the toilet, the mini-fridge and all over the bed comforter, just making it look trashy as well. In the pool area […] is a sign that says "Spa Rules" and lists a few rules for said spa, when we got the pool area to go to the spa, it was freezing cold and when confronted about it, they said it was just a kiddy pool. So why do you have a sign about your "spa"? We didn't get a single clean towel when they would clean our room in the mornings, and our final night they took away our floor rug for the shower/bath and our hand towel, so we had to use our towels for that stuff. The breakfast was horrible, we ended up going to Burger King down the road for our breakfast in the mornings for the remainder of our stay. It was not a very pleasant stay. Pročitajte više

The room was supposed to have a microwave, but didn't, Loud obnoxious tenants, There was no WiFi at the hotel even though the guy in the office insisted that they have internet access. That same guy in the office I believe is the owner was such a jerk completely rude and unaccommodating. He seemed like we were bothering him when we […] tried to check in. For a family of 4 they only gave us 2 towels and then seemed annoyed when we asked for more. The next day when they cleaned we came back and again only 2 towels. the fan vent in the bathroom was filthy--full of dust and dirt. I asked the housekeeper to clean. She called the manager who informed me that they did NOT have time to clean the fans and vents, no matter how filthy they were. She advised me to clean it myself. I checked out early

We are not picky about hotels, and this time, despite everything I'll say below, we were not very disappointed and would not even discourage friends from going there if they worry less about comfort than money. None of the other lamps worked. Bathtub stopper did not work in either room. In one of the rooms the heater did not work. There were multiple dents and dirt spots on the walls. They provide very few towels. They don't allow to take any food from breakfast room. Overall, they seem to save on everything, except that they change the bedding every day. THIS HOTEL IS WHAT IT IS. A basic hotel which will meet your needs. It is right across the street from knotts Berry Farm so you can walk right on over. Convenient location to local restauarants which are also easily accesible. The room was not fancy but met my needs for the weekend stay. The pool was nice but the jacuzzi was not hot. Our phone didn't work at all, dead. The TV made a very loud squeek, which made it unwatchable. There was a dirty washcloth on shower rod. You could hear through pipes if someone flushed in another room or anything. The bedskirts weren't even on the beds right. The coffee tray was not cleaned well, the coffees looked like they had been sitting in water. […] The location is awesome for parking and walking to Knotts, but the room etc was not desirable at all. Pool and Jacuzzi were ice cold, no towels in pool area. Free breakfast consists of muffins, toast, and cereal.

The room was convenient to the attraction we were going to, however, it was very run down and dirty. I did not allow the kids to take their shoes off! I would not recommend staying here, unless you don't mind sleeping in your shoes.

Close to must-see sites. They were friendly and accomodated us with some upgrades at no extra cost. the price was reasonable and a very pleasurable stay.

When we arrived, the room we reserved was not available, so they upgraded us at no additional charge. The staff was very friendly. Quiet neighborhood. Knott's Berry Farm was within walking distance.
