"Great hotel!"
We stayed here for one night after a concert and were extremely impressed. The hotel has been recently renovated, the lobby/breakfast dining room is beautiful, and our room was very clean and comfortable. My father was in a local hospital for a few days, so my mother, sister and I stayed here. Because we didn't know for sure how many nights we would be staying, we were pleasantly surprised when the management did everything possible to make sure we would have a room available to us if we needed to stay another nights. In contrast to a stay a few days earlier at another chain's motel that simply couldn't handle the number of guests it had, we had no complaints of any kind about our stay here. Though they were fully booked, there was no serious congestion in the parking lot, on the free wifi, in the elevators, or in the breakfast room. The breakfast area was large […] as was the selection, with rolls, bagels, cereal, scrambled eggs and bacon, waffles, and real, not instant, oatmeal. Our 2 rooms (2 double beds in each) were clean, with decently sized bathrooms. Add in a nice hot tub and indoor pool, at a competitive price for the region, and we were happy. "Great Night in Maumee Hampton"
Nice clean fresh room with Verified Just Washed White Comforter & sheets, etc. Great Bed and Great Hot Breakfast with Ham n Eggs, Waffles, Oatmeal, cereal, fruit, etc! We picked the hotel because it has a 4.8 rating from other Hotels.com members, and saw why it is so highly regarded. Very friendy staff, excellent breakfast options, nice pool and hot tub, clean room with ample space and a very comfortable bed. Not a single thing about which to complain. This is a lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly. The rooms are compact, but very comfortable, stylish and clean. The breakfast buffet is terrific! The lobby is welcoming and inviting. Overall it was a good overnight stay. One of the reasons I picked this hotel was because they have an indoor and outdoor pool. The indoor pool is very large and well maintained. Nice, clean room; pleasant overnight stop on our drive across the country. Close enough to the highway for quick on/off but far enough to not have constant road noise. "A good place to stay"
I gave 4 speeches in 24 hours, ending in the evening in Toledo. The Hampton Inn in Maumee was a wonderful respite place, with a good breakfast. The main liability was the surrounding area: very suburban, no sidewalks to walk. But, the hotel, the room, the breakfast, the comments from the front desk-all were fine.
