When I stayed here, the other hotels in the San Jose/PaloAlto area were going for 200 dollars plus for some reason, so I was grateful to find a Ramada with the nice bedding for under 100 dollars. I slept fine, the room was comfortable and clean. The service was great. The only complaints I had were that I had to move rooms because the TV in the first […] one didn't work. Then the bathroom/toilet lights in the second one turned off and on by itself. A bit spooky but I got used to it. Also, the bathroom fans are terribly loud. There's no way to turn them off. I enjoyed my stay at the Ramada. It was comfortable, the staff the friendly and it is a good location so I could avoid a lot of the Mountain View traffic. There is limited parking at the hotel and it was a little inconvenient. Other than that, it was great!

Very noisy at night. Could hear neighbors talking, the heating systems in other rooms were very noisy and these issues lasted until the early morning hours - very hard to get a good night's sleep. Won't stay there again

Would not stay here again. No hot water when I went to take a shower and room did not feel clean. The noise from 101 which is a stone-throw away - makes this hotel one to skip.

Everything about the hotel was great except the proximity to the 101. There was traffic noise, but it wasn't so awful to keep us awake at night.

i was rather disappointed....that I was only here 1 night. I was really impressed with the room. Very comfortable, clean, nice size, a tv that had channels and was more that what i was expecting. Only problem for me was that I walked from the Metra station in Tinley Park. Despite it being very hot, the walk was difficult as major roads to cross with […] no pedestrian crossings...or walkways in some parts. So it's perfect for driving stops, but if not, check out the pace bus, or pre book a taxi. It's not that far, but a struggle. I wish I could have this room everywhere I go for the next 7 weeks. pool was closed. breakfast was cold when there was food. holes in the towels, but they were soft. No elevators so the maids carry everything up and down the stairs, so I would say downstairs must be cleaner. Not my favorite

This was our first time to stay here, as opposed to where we usually stay, which had gone up in price. The hotel was in a good location, but the surrounding neighborhood was a bit deserted, so I would never stay here alone. The room was very clean and not rundown. There were some things that were annoying: coffee carafe broken, no coffee supplied for 2nd night stay, limited TV channels that one would expect would be standard (i.e. History Channel)..yet, they had HBO, beds were a little hard and the bathroom way small, the breakfast room appeared to be stocked first thing in the morning and never looked in on again. By the time we got there, there was hardly anything to eat and no attendant. No coffee in the pump coffee pots, very little juice or breads. They need to have someone restock it halfway through so that the construction workers haven't wiped everything out early in the morning. Check-in was smooth, however I did request a ground floor via Hotels.com online. The receptionist stated my request never came through on my online reservation. I should have called in advance before arriving, ...a lesson learned on my part. (I have limited mobility with arthritic hip, stairs are tricky for me.) They couldn't make adjustments to find […] another ground room --and I was left to deal with my hip taking gear on my own. There was no offer to provide assistance... that was disappointing. If assistance was offered, that would make me a return guest for certain --as I come out to Santa Clara this time of year, every year! Everything about the room was comfortable and relatively clean. The "furniture" polish left an odd greasy film or residue on doors, chairs, tables, bath counter, and bathroom floor... a bit slippery if one didn't walk with care on the later. Bed was very comfy. I slept well. The complimentary breakfast was very nice, huge selection of items. I really enjoyed the waffe station, eggs and ham, and the fresh fruit!!! To sum it up, reccomenadations are: 1.) Customer service could improve-- thus, resulting in satisfied AND returning guests! Effort on their part was lacking, oh well. 2.) Room was clean and comfortable, although a little cramped. We were out most of the day so this was not an issue. If you are looking for a place to land for the night while you are sightseeing, this is the place. Again, the Advertised" jacuzzi tub was NOT in this room! The front building was a little noisy (cars from the highway). Breakfast was ok if you don't mind the same scrambled eggs every day. The K room with the jacuzzi was nice, but not really worth the extra charge. Not a great experience, and another disappointment with my Hotels.com reservation.

Where do we begin? My two teenage daughters & I needed a getaway for just the three of us (they are wonderful girls) away from their brothers. Hotel looked great on Expedia website. I spent hours researching & choosing this one for our stay. Was planning on extending to one or two more evenings after initial reservation, but only stayed ONE. I considered […] having all 3 of us sleep in our car -- it was so bad. 1) It was over 100 degrees - changed into bathing suits upon arrival, went to pool -- sign said "CLOSED". Front desk clerk NEVER said anything at check in! When I complained, she said the health dept. shut the pool down weeks before! Yuck! THEN -- 20 min. later she came back w/ her mom/mgr to say the pool is fine! Girls end up in the pool-- rotten fruit from trees all over patio & poolside furniture -- leaves & dead fruit in pool. Not heated either. 2) large spiders all over hanging clothes in closet. 3) Cold shower -- very small stall & toilet/tub room. 4) Very few TV stations. 5) Nice lobby had guest computer - they gave us password - went to use it -- clerk said "doesn't work". 6) Breakfast eggs were cold. 7) Asked for more pillows. Clerk said "you have enough". ???? Rude rude! 8) 30 minutes before checkout, keycards were changed & we lost room access. Would NEVER use hotel again! Location was a bit "ghetto". Even though on somedays I had left later than the check-out time, I thought it would be rather convienant for housekeeping to still be able to provide me with clean sheets upon request, but overall I was satisfied. There was a mildewy smell in the room, but opening windows helped and with it an end unit, we were able to get a cross breeze. It is kind of hard to find, but it is a very nice hotel. Pool was a great addition as the kids needed it! Breakfast is very good!
