pogledajte sve hotele za: San FranciscoWe enjoyed our stay. It was a close walk to Fisherman's Wharf and other tourist sites in San Francisco. I was a little disappointed that we had to pay an additional parking fee, but it was not too bad.
Rooms not at all soundproofed. Were woken up by neighbors at about 2a.m. They were simply talking but we could hear every word, sounded like they were in room with us. Then, trafic very loud by 6 a.m. Sleepless night.

Strange hotel. I would recommend staying at Travelodge Presidio before this place. Just old and strange.

"Undisclosed charges! Could of stayed at the Hilton"
When we booked, we booked a pet friendly room. But when we got there, we found out about a $24. a day charge for a pet, on top of that they charge for parking $14. a day. None of this was disclosed!!! Then the room smelled of cologne, including the bedding and pillows. No where within a mile is there any grass for a dog to even pee, this is not any […] one's idea of pet friendly. The only good part of this hotel, is some of the staff are nice. By the time we paid for the original hotel charges, and then all the undisclosed add ones it was more $$ to stay here then it was at the Hilton Hotel. I will never stay there again!! Pročitajte više
Thank you taking the time to share your thoughts with us regarding your recent stay. I recently checked Hotels.com web site to see if they had forgotten to disclose an of our charges. About half way down the page under "Notification and fees" It does state that we charge for parking and pets. I have asked them to move this a little bit higher up the page so there is no confusion with guests booking in the future. I'm sorry that you were unaware of the charges prior to your arrival. I believe the smell that was in your room was our air freshener. Some people say it is soothing and others would prefer the room have no scent. In the future, just let us know if you don't want us to spray air freshener in the room and we will be sure to let the housekeeping staff know. Our property is located in a major city, which is why there isn't too much grass to take your pets to the bathroom. Unfortunately, it is the same for almost all hotels in San Francisco. For our future guests, the closest park is 3 blocks away (ten minute walk.) Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. began by allowing us to use parking for appt @ mt zion, but could not check in... so far so good..arrived back at hotel @ 3:30.. checked in , need parking add'l $$ for overnite... arrived at room, just started cleaning, plz give them 20 min... not good... moved vehicle for closer access.. when got into room, had no wi-fi.. was suggested if wi-fi is […] that important, owner will allow check out and refund and we can move...by this time is is 0830 pm & husband & myself ARE NOT moving, the best they then could do was refund for overnite parking.. We apologize that the Internet was down during your stay. We decided to do a major upgrade to our wireless Internet. We chose the time of year that is generally the slowest, however; this year has been busy at all times. The reason we were only able to discount you the parking is because you had pre-paid through Hotels.com. You paid them for room and tax which means all we charged was the incidentals. Our new Internet is now up and running and is better than ever. Each guest will now have excellent connection through out the property! Again, I am sorry that you were here while we changed our Internet service providers. It was a major capitol investment which needed to be done sooner or later. We really appreciated that. We found it to be a very nice place to stay and will stay there again in the future!

The hotel was very convenient for a ten minute walk to Fishermens Wharf. The hotel is on Lombard Street which was very busy and noisy with traffic, especially in the morning and at night. My room had a small whole in the bottom of the door which was a problem when it was cold. The heater was quite noisy. Had a great time at this hotel. Check-in was fast and easy. Location was awesome for going to the pier. Room was clean and the tv worked. Covered parking if you pay for it. Can't beat it for the money.

Breakfast was very ordinary. It was close to bus lines which was good but no fridge/microwave in room and very dank and musty in the hall ways. Needs a good overhaul.

Fairly convenient, a bit difficult to get into & out of. Very close to bus lines & walking. Employees were nice. Room was clean & quiet, but not very comfortable. Overpriced for skimpy amenities; requested extra coffee & got it, but not the pillows we asked for. There was no extra chair or desk/counter area.

This hotel is cheap and the rooms are nice enough. If it's not good enough for you, then you're probably the kind of person who travels first class and you would do well to rethink your priorities in life.

I stayed in the part where the room doors opened into a hallway. My first impression...very 2 starish. The elevator is actually a service elevator, the hallways narrow and the view from my 2nd floor is a wall. However the room was very very clean. I could tell it was just remodeled because the bathroom tile grout and window rails and room heater had […] no dust or grime. "Dog friendly, good location, friendly staff"
So it was my wife, my dog and myself... Everyone there was super nice and accommodating. Comfortable bed, strong heater and clean room! Shower was clean and nice hot water.. We had a great time and would recommend this hotel to anyone.. especially if you have a dog.

This is not a five star hotel. The building is a bit worn (but not too much) and the rooms had a bit of a musky smell to them but other than that we found this hotel to be a great value. FOR SMOKERS: There is plenty of space and ash trays on the walkway outside the rooms with a small sit down area near the front of the building. "It has what you need"
We stayed here for one night. The room we had was massive. The layout was a little inconvenient as the only way to access our level was from the parking garage next door. They didn't have a wine opener in the front desk so I went to the restaurant next door to get a little help. Yes, the walls were not effective at blocking sound (could hear the person […] next door coughing) and the sink in our room did not drain properly (but we easily removed the drain contraption) . And the bathroom was a little small but honestly? Who cares. All of these things are insignificant and very minor. There is nothing wrong with this hotel and it was affordable, we had a good nights sleep and everything was fine. If you are the 'prince and princess' type then you will be the ones writing flaming reviews, but I personally do not care about minor inconveniences such as a small bathroom and no wine opener. Within one hour of getting to our room we found a mouse! There were even droppings of the mouse in the bed. Of course they moved us to another room and were very apologetic about it. We had decided to stay for 3 nights therefore we were charged for three nights of parking. I want to personally apologize for the inconvenience during your stay. I want you to know that this is not the "norm" for us. The owners have been here for 12 years and they have never had an issue like this. You will be happy to know that we have taken care of the problem. We have not seen one in 2 months which is an excellent sign! Again, I am very sorry that this happened and I wish there was an explanation I could give you. Should you return to San Francisco in the future, it is our hope that you will come stay with us again!

Safe surroundings (I was travelling alone as a single female so this was much appreciated!), very convenient to get to via bus, nice big room and friendly service staff. Only quibble was that it was slightly pricey but overall, it was a good experience.

Excellent price and location. Are room was suite, 2 Queen size beds, 1 full bath and 1 half bath. The room was basic, clean but comfortable. Overnight parking is $11.00 a night in San Francisco! We will stay there again.

We would like to let all of our future travelers know that we are currently finishing up a remodel. We have dedicated a specific room as our breakfast room which means we will have plenty of space now for everyone to sit down and eat breakfast.

This was a bad and uncomfortable experience! This was the worst hotel I have every stayed at. The bedding smelled bad, like body odor, the comforter was not clean. The room itself smelled bad. The parking lot was so small, nothing like the pics on the web site. Hard to turn around. Upon returning from the Giants baseball game we had no where to park […] even though they charged a parking fee of $13.80. I had to complain and then finally they moved a vehicle in valet and let us park there. I would never recommend this hotel since the rates were so high for such stinky conditions! Pročitajte više

Right in the heart of the fun, this hotel was a pleasant surprise from the strat. The rate was doable, the room was clean, parking off the street, and best of all our room opened right up to the golden gate bridge!!! Very pleased. Thank You.

"It's nothing fancy but it will do."
Nice hotel close to tour bus pickup and Fisherman's Wharf. Since you're not in SF to sit around in your room this place is perfect. The free parking is the greatest part of the deal. The staff at the desk was very friendly and knowledgeable. Also there is a laundromat attached to the motel.

If you need a room within San Francisco that can accomodate a family of 5 in a single room without totally busting your budget, this is such a place. Rates are still a bit steep considering what you get but most places in SF are overpriced anyway, so...

The rooms are good sized (we fit 2 twin size air matresses on the floor), the "free breakfast" is silly, the hotel is not walking distance away from the wharf but is still centrally located to many of the sites, the staff was pleasant and helpful, dont plan to park longer than your stay they are serious about their parking spots, no air conditioning […] but its SF so open the windows and your good, its nothing fancy but gets the job done. You get what you pay for with this hotel. It was in a good location to the wharf, however it was not the cleanest. The hotel staff was very friendly, but when we got there, they assigned us a room that was not cleaned, so they had to give us another room. The second room they gave us was on the third floor and in the back corner and seemed pretty sketchy. […] If all you are doing is sleeping in the room it probably wouldn't be bad, but with kids the room was not something I would get again. Travelodge By The Bay is located within one mile of San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. This is not a true statement. It's 15 minutes via "a bus" and/or one hour walk. Fisherman's Wharf is a few miles not one. Also no disclosure on your web site for daily parking fee of $12.00.
