I chose Comfort Suites in Seattle because I recently stayed at a very nice Comfort Suites in Milwaukie OR. The building in Seattle (SeaTac) felt very old and dingy. Everything seemed clean, the breakfast was ok, the staff was helpful but the general "feeling" of the building was disappointing. One note -- we were meeting a Grandson at the OSU in the […] airport. 318 smelled awful from old tobacco. Maybe non- smoking now but room still stinks. Room was so small could not open luggage except if placed on bed. And did the park and fly... The hotel was run down ... stained carpets in corridors. There was a smell of goulash or something unappetizing around midnite, permeating our room. Saw a bunch of empty food containers like from a food service variety that were overflowing in a trash receptacle by the elevator which needed to be taken out and were being neglected. "Good - free parking and in room internet is a plus"
Really not bad for the savings. OUr conference was at the Marriott and we chose not to stay there for the price since we had to be there 4 days. Most people complained the Marriott was expensive and they had to pay add'l parking $25 day and in room internet for $25 a day so we felt fortunate we didn't have all these added fees. Our room was small but […] comfortable, the bed blankets didn't smell clean but we survived. The cleaning lady was a sweetheart. The desk clerks were very helpful when we needed to fax something and didn't even want to charge us because it took so long for the fax to work but we gave them a tip anyway. Got a great hotel room for the price and right accross the street from a casino! The shuttle service to the airport was perfect, from there you could hit the metro rail and be anywhere in seattle in minutes. This was a nice hotel for the price. The staff was friendly and courteous. It was nice to get a free shuttle from the airport. My room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean. Also, the breakfast was good and the coffee was hot and strong, just like I like it. "Nice employees but hotel needs much attention"

We picked hotel specifically for the free airport shuttle, but service was terrible. shuttle and desk staff had different expectations, rules Shuttle staff were rude, didn't talk or explain stops or ask about our destination . I was quite disappointed with only 1 electrical outlet in the bathroom. With 3 daughters, multiple outlets in a bathroom are a necessity. There also was only one empty outlet in the room. "Not my favorite."
Parking at the hotel is terrible. No check in or load/unload parking at all since they keep the airport bus parked in front of the lobby. This means if you have luggage you have to park your vehicle and hike back to the lobby. When I stayed, the only parking spaces available were at the complete end of the very unusually long lot. So checking and out […] was uncomfortable. Item 2, only one out four ice machines functioned in the hotel. I quick trip for some ice turns into a ten minute search for the machine that works.
