Red Lion Hotel Pendleton - Pendleton

The staff was friendly and accommodating, the premises were clean although somewhat dated. The beds were not particularly comfortable, but they did the trick for a brief overnight stay after a day of driving. The only problem we ran into was the supernatural experience we had during the night. We left the light in the bathroom on for our daughter because […] our nightlight that we usually use had burned out. Shortly after getting in bed, my wife and I both observed the shadow of a man pass against the wall, as if someone had just walked in front of the bathroom... which was impossible since all of us were in bed and no one could have walked in front of the bathroom. After telling ourselves we hadn't really seen what we definitely did see, we attempted to sleep. While we slept, the covers of the bed were pulled off of us, and we had the sensation of someone standing near the bed and talking to our daughter, because she was clearly reacting and talking to someone we could not see. After we left the next morning, we read that the ghost of an employee who committed suicide is said to haunt the hotel. That must be who we ran into. He didn't seem aggressive or angry at all, just playful. So as long as you don't mind the chance of encountering a playful ghost in your room and having the covers pulled off of you in the middle of the night, then go ahead and stay here. Pročitajte više

Great hotel for a great price. I always like when there is a vanity outside of the bathroom, so two can get ready in the morning. Very clean & comfortable.

I needed rest after a medical procedure and this hotel was the ticket. It was quiet, private, and the staff made sure we got breakfast to the room since I could not get down there. Restful visit!

Nice location for the hotel in Pendleton. They ask for a credit card even though you have already paid by Expedia - which is not really necessary. Older hotel but well maintained. Nice furniture but older TV. Overall, a pleasant experience and a nice place to stay for a few days.

We were on our way home from a cruise and missed the turndown service and chocolates on the bed but we were not expecting that service. Room was very comfortable, the linens very nice and the bad very comfortable. I would definately stay here again.

This is an excellent hotel. The rooms were excellent. Very roomy with a nice balcony. The bar and dining area is great with a beautiful view. The staff is friendly and willing to answer all questions. The view is fantastic. I cannot say enough nice things about this Hotel. The hotel room was large and clean but terribly dated. The elevator was out of order and the pool was too. Mostly the hotel was rundown, the exterior was in serious need of paint and the grounds in need of tending. Not a great value.

Room was not ready, but they found one. None of this would have been an issue. Front desk person, might have actually been the manager, had an attitude that made my decision easy for the future. Staying there is not an option the next time.

I am not a big fan of Red Lion, and only stayed here because the Oxford was full. Red Lion in consistent in being just so-so in my book, and this one is on par with that. It is clean and and fairly comfortable, but that is all. They do nothing special to make me want to go out of my way to stay with them.

This was just a convenient stop for my husband and I on our 3 week road trip. I have never stayed at a Red Lion before. The room was a bit small, but very clean. The comfort I rated as a 3 only because the airconditioning didnt work very well. This hotel did not come with breakfast, but you can purchase it for 4.99. We chose not to have breakfast there. […] The front desk lady was not rude, but she definately was not friendly and never smiled. The rooms had a slightly mildewy smell. The windows, which were not screened needed to be opened to air the room at all times. The sheets were rough enough to take the skin off of my elbows. The room was large and very clean. The room was too warm to sleep comfortably and the thermostat was not adjustable. We were on the second floor and the elevator was out of commission. Decore is outdated and cleaning staff left glasses/bottles/dishes outside room doors in the hallway. These dishes stayed for approx. 5 hours.

Loved the room. Bathroom was very nice and clean. One disappointment was that the front desk didnt inform us that they were putting a $40 hold on our bank account (after we already payed for our nights) just in case we wanted to us any extras in the room. We had not stayed at this paticular hoel for several years, our room had been updated and was nicely done........also coffee, refrg,, iron & board, etc. No flat screen TV, but was not a problem for us.
