"Just say no"
room leaves a lot to be desired, staff had "friends" taking drink orders, and going in and out of the room while cleaning rooms, confirmation messed up, water leaking from room above, no clean towels for second night stay. we were told the hotel was robbed, scaring myself and other guests while eating at the Denny's, later to find out it was not true. […] Smell of marijuana coming from rooms. I would not recommend nor will I stay at this hotel again. The maintenance staff were very nice, thank you. Tried to request a 1st floor because of disability but couldn't get one. Pretty steep flight of stairs to go up to second floor because of no elevators. Rooms where clean and tidy and quiet. "Nice hotel"

"Convenient location"
The staff were friendly and helpful. I needed directions to a local school and the woman at the front desk gave me an easy to follow route. It is not a charming location as it is off a freeway, but it suited me as I was there on business. "Comfortable accommodations at a reasonable price."

Advertised as non-smoking room, reserved and paid for a non-smoking room. As we unlocked the door, the stench of a SMOKING room was overwhelming from outside the room. When asked why we were given a smoking room when we reserved a non-smoking room we were told it was based on availablity. If this were true it should have been advertised as a smoking […] room. The overwhelming stench remained on everything we took into the room. We go to ABQ twice a month and will most definitely not choose to stay at this location again. Had high hopes as Albuquerque family said all their visitors stayed here. Expected basic products in bath room (body lotion), more than 3 hangers in closet for 2 people (requested twice, never available). For those travelling to balloon fiesta, you have to get up VERY early to see the balloons ascend. You may need a nap that day and if so, these rooms do not keep out the noise from the outside so forget any sleeping during active times of the day. The bed was comfortable. We unfortunately got a smoking room so the room, curtains and bedspreads REEKED […] of smoke--so be sure you get a non-smoking room if that bothers you. Basic place to stay in NE Albuquerque. Room was small but clean. Only two hangers in the room but they brought more when I asked. Burned out light at desk area which was never fixed even though I asked. Biggest problem: no elevator to 2nd floor rooms.
