"Good location"
It had a good location but we had to fly out really early the next morning so we were trying to go to bed and at 10:30 there were still kids running the halls and being really loud.

clean, kids enjoyed pool, delicious food, generous helpings, friendly staff, comfortable beds, open forum with pool area somewhat stuffy (low air circulation), ping pong tables, game room (some games worked, a few did not), spacious hot tub
"The Airport Holiday Inn Des Moines, Iowa"
Enjoyed the balcony overlooking the pool. Stayed two nights. Great place for families. Staff was very helpful. The room we booked originally was a king size room (only one bed--there were three of us), the desk clerk told us right when we checked in that there was another room available with two queens if we were interested, we didn't even ask, she […] just offered that piece of info to us, which I thought was nice. Only problem we had was A/C in room stopped working the 2nd night and we had to move to another room, luckily we were able to move to adjoining room next door. Pročitajte više
"Holiday Inn by the Airport"
The hotel room was in ok condition, the bed was comfortable, and the location was right across the street from the airport (which was nice), but that is where the good stuff ends. The entire place smelled like the indoor pool. The "free" breakfast is actually a voucher that doesn't cover any decent item on the menu. I was asked to pay $.49 for my "free" […] meal. I don't understand why they wouldn't have the menu priced so that the food is actually free....I opted to pay full price at Starbucks down the street. Management and stafff were rude. The power went out in the entire facility while I was there and the manager laughed at me when I told her I was in the shower when it happened (I am also 8 months pregnant).
