5/4/13 Entire Hotel is basically under construction right now. I mean no carpet or walls in the lobby, the place is all the way down to the studs. When I arrived the entire front of the hotel and the inside lobby was completely torn apart and undergoing a renovation. In my opinion they should have closed the hotel during the renovations. You could see a look of shock and disgust as guests arrived and saw the lobby, which looked like it had been blown apart by explosives. But the hotel was a disaster. My room had sharp spikes coming out of the carpet where the carpet met the bathroom tile (a carpet strip) and I injured my foot on it several times. The toilet seat had yellow stains on, it was clearly not thoroughly washed. HOWEVER, the entire bathroom sink/mirror/shower/tub were all completely brand new. So new that some of the protective plastic film was not completely removed and was left hanging off of the vanity. So it was obvious that this hotel was on it's way to being much better...I think it would be a fine hotel when complete. They should have stopped taking reservations during construction. I wasn't very satisfied. I understand that the hotel was being renovated but it was horrible in there. Very upset that I wasn't informed of this before booking. The hotel was under renovation which they failed to mention in the description. The viewing hole on the hotel room door was only filled with a piece of paper towel. The beds were pretty much laying on the ground. the tv was very old. I do not recommend staying in this hotel until the renovation is finished.

Upon my arrival, I found the hotel completely under construction, so I was quite confused, because the "awesome" deal was around $150 per night. I was told the website states it is under construction, which would have been convenient, but I booked this room 3 months prior...when it didn't state that. The entire hotel wasn't even finished! The rooms […] didn't even have room numbers! But that was the least of the worries. There was so much noise throughout the nights, I'm assuming from individuals that felt they had to drink until they passed out because of the condition of their room. When asked for help with the noise lasting from 3am-5am, the front desk provided none. They did have good breakfast though. Otherwise, a complete waste, and so disgusting. Was not told the hotel was in the middle of remodeling. Hallway on out floor smelled. Paid more than my fellow masons attending Grand Lodge. The bed was not comfortable. The furniture was in poor condition. Poor lighting in the bathroom. Could barely see to shave. Overall a very bad experience.

Worst of the worst. Avoid at all costs. And, it was way over-priced - I suppose because of all the weekend events in Nashville. It would have been overpriced at $19/night.

This place was under construction! No one let us know this. On top of having to pay an obscene amount for 1 night, the phone didn't work the place needed cleaning, no remote for the 19 inch tv, & the ladies that came in to get a room after us opened their door to ceiling high bags of garbage. I am not exaggerating the least little bit either.

I was not told that the hotel was under renovation and the rooms were nasty. We reserved three rooms and it was hit and miss with quality. The water pressure was great in one room, but the other rooms were atrocious! One room had no trash cans and the mattress slid off the bed, the shower had to either be scalding hot or freezing cold. We got in at 12:45 a.m. from a long drive from PA. We were greeted very nicely and were immediately handed our key for our room. It was so so clean and comfortable. Even tho our stay was very short, it was comfortable and convenient.

Stayed on the 5th floor. Beds were HORRIBLE! I would have slept on the floor, but it was too dirty to even walk on without shoes. The only thing nice about it was the bathroom. It had been remodeled. I understand they were remodeling, but there was no reason for having such terrible beds. Thats the reason for a hotel stay, is a place to sleep.
