Guestrooms.
All guestrooms feature individual climate control, dual-line speakerphones with adaptors, complimentary in-room safes and balconies. Airy and spacious, the Executive rooms feature private balconies. The Junior Suites have a sliding glass French door or 3/4 wall separating the bedroom from a living room. All rooms are decorated with original artworks and specially commissioned furniture - old-world-style with warm dark wood, and richly upholstered furniture.

Bacchus Bar & Lounge - Italian Murano chandeliers illuminate rich wood paneling, antiques, fresh flowers, and original works of art in this award-winning restaurant. The Modern French menu features lobster rolls, crisp potato-topped halibut, and oven-roasted Fraser Valley duck. Bacchus is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, and afternoon tea. The hotel's lounge, with its fireplace and plush velvet chesterfields, is one of the Vancouver's most popular see-and-be-seen gathering spots.
Wedgewood Hotel guests can exercise in the fitness center, which is equipped with free weights and computerized exercise equipment, including a stair climber, rowing machine, treadmill, and exercise bike. All exercise machines have multi-channel music outlets—headphones are complimentary—and a cool-down patio is located off the fitness center. Guests can also relax in one of two marble steam rooms.

"Exquisite hotal with personal touch"
The hotel had nice personal touches - cookies at bedtime, chocolates on arrival, lovely surroundings, excellent spa, wonderful restaurant and amazing staff! Everyone was so friendly.

I booked this for a 1night get away for my wife and I. And we where very pleased with our stay from check in to check out. Very well run great atmosphere and spotlessly clean. We had decided to eat at a restaurant in Vandouver but after viewing the restaurant and the great service we had at lunch we thankfully changed our minds. Our meal was superb! This member of the Relais et Chateux group does not disappoint! It is beautifully restored, immaculate and the staff is discreet and helpful. Every member of the staff, from the concierge to the maids were friendly and courteous! Highly recommended.

The concierges and valets couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Overall we were very happy, with only two relatively minor complaints: * We did send a follow-up email after booking to the hotel's info@ email address with a request. This was not answered, and on check-in they said it was never received. However, they did accommodate our request […] anyway. * The wireless Internet signal in our room was so weak at the desk in our room that it was unusable (had to sit or stand by the door), and neither I nor the hotel's engineer could get the wired Internet to work (could not acquire an IP address) with my computer that has no problems connecting to other wired networks. This hotel is not only elegant, it is fabulous and affordable. I would recommend the Wedgewood ovr any other luxury hotel in Vancouver for its value and quality.

This hotel blew me away - we split our trip between here and the Four Seasons in Vancouver (they are about 5-10mins walk from one another) and I wish I had stayed here the entire time. I was very satisfied with the quality of the hotel, the staff, and the personal touches such as the gift of choclates with a welcoming card, and the cookies and water. The only aspect that slightly detracted from the visit was the presence of the Occupy Vancouver protesters. Every aspect was awesome. The shower was a wee bit weak, but that was a minor flaw. The hotel really is a little European oasis in the middle of downtown Vancouver. The staff were super attentive without being overly annoying. I was very pleased with the room and the whole hotel.

"Tranquil"
Once inside the stress melted away. Very comfortable and well apointed suite, relaxing bar with subdued lighting.

The hotel is very conveniently located. It is really not necessary to have a rental care unless a trip to Whistler is planned. The restaurent is very good and the bar is comfortable. "A night out in the town!"
Valet service is excellent. As soon as we arrived we got upgraded and got and amazing soaker tub! The front desk staff were super friendly and efficent. The restaurant in the hotel was delicious! The hotel was super clean and beautiful decor. The Spa was ever so relaxing. Although this hotel is pricey, but worth it!!

This is a boutique hotel that is ideally situated and provides many amenities. The staff is courteous and helpful. All rooms are a small suite which adds to the please of the stay. The food in the restaurant needs to be upgraded, in line with the overall level of the place.

Came in at 2am. Looked a little old and tired, the Hotel. When I woke up it seemed like a different hotel. Stayed for a week and had one of the best hotel stays I've had in a long time. For someone who travels 35 week a year in five stars, this place is what a five star total experience is to be. Wrapped up in a beautiful older package

Stayed 4 nights at the Wedgwood during our first vist to Vancouver. Great location downtown, extra comfortable bed, accomodating and friendly staff. Good food and atmosphere in the lounge/restaurant. we checked in at the hotel and we were put into a much smaller room then we paid for, we then had to wit 2.5 hours after 9 hours of traveling to get into our room to have a room facing a ally (again not what we requested) we had one beverage from the bar not wanting to pay forit with our credit card we left a 2 n the mini bar, and i just looked at my […] visa statement and realized that they charged me for that beverage. the bed was noisy and the toilet didnt flush very well. we end up changing rooms the night after. My wife and I visited Vancouver for our 1st anniversary and stayed at the Wedgewood. We were more than satisfied with our stay there. Super friendly staff, awesome restaurant, and the room was great. We also got a couples massage at the spa which was very relaxing. We will definitely stay there again if we visit Vancouver again.

The room was lovely and the balcony very spacious. However the sofa bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom door squeaked terribly. Snacks were available in the room for a substatial charge . Room service outrageous for the amount of food received.
