The in hotel restaurant has nice food, albeit pricy. The Italian restaurant across the street was very expensive for the bland taste. We tried it a couple times and do not recommend it.

Arriving late in the evening I was told my room was in the west wing. I had to walk outside in the dark through the parking lot to find my room. I arrived late (11pm) and there were 8 people waiting to check in. It took over 45 minutes to get acknowledged. The girl working the desk never said "I'll be right with you" or even addressed the people waiting in the lobby. When she finally checked me in, she told me that her computer wasn't working and that she could assign me a room, but couldn't […] guarantee that it was clean or that someone wasn't already in there. Spend the extra couple bucks and stay at the Holiday Inn or Hilton. This is a very bad neighborhood. No place feels safe especially at night. I am a grown man and it felt sketchy in the area. Horrible hotel in OAK. Only thing that was good was early AM shuttle service to OAK airport. Total DUMP and not anywhere safe to go out after 7pm. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Fine for a place to catch some Z's for being on the go. No dresser. The on-line picture showed a standard, multi-story hotel. Our room was in the two story, motel like structure in back of the pictured hotel and it didn't feel terribly safe.

The people at the front desk were very nice and efficient. Shuttle service very fast and wiling to go above and beyond what was expected. My only complaint was my room was not made up. I don't know if it was because we slept in late. We were out of our room before 11:00 am. Or because our room was prepaid.

This hotel probably used to be good but overall a disappointing experience. I was put in the "West Plaza", which are the building behind high rise part of the hotel. Terrific location, minutes to OAK. Hotel room was very clean, good sized and with an updated decor. Hotel itself is older, but updated. We stayed in a two queen room. It was pretty nice, though the beds were def not queen sized. Overall cleanliness was great. The only issue I had were the airplains flying overhead in the middle of the night, which woke me up like twice. Husband is a heavy sleeper so this didnt faze him. Cafe is decent. Over priced, but decent cafe food.

I don't know how it is I reserve a room a week in advance (Tower King) and when I checked in around 9:30 pm my room is gone. No! What happened is that they GAVE my room away, plain and simple. This is not the first poor issue I've had with this property.
