"Super 8 in Salinas"
The hotel overall was ok...we needed a place for cheap and thats convenient. The room was clean but felt old. The beds were probably the highlight because they were so soft and comfy. I would recommend this hotel for a one night stay, but anything past that, I would look elsewhere.

Everyone was very professional. The offerings at breakfast need to be healthier. We chose to not eat there, but the coffee was great! Our suggestions: have a choice of whole wheat bread or whole wheat waffles and sugar free syrup. Too much white flour and sugar to be healthy. Also, have fresh fruit available -- ready to take one and go, if needed. Apples, […] oranges, bananas, or whatever is in season. The stay was not spectacular, but I didn't expect that. I did make late Labor Day weekend reservations and I have a dog, so the pickings were pretty scarce. For what we ended up paying for our room, I can't complain. The beds were a little soft for my likings and we found the room very stuffy. Very professional and friendly staff. Easy location to get to. Will stay there again and recomend to friends.
"Economical"
Very economical and clean hotel. Right next to the freeway, but it didn't bother me. Restaurant right next door. The place is pretty well kept.

"overnight stay"
We just wanted a motel for one night. I asked for non-smoking; while the room may have been non-smoking, it had a stale smoke smell. The bedding was torn; The internet did not work; the stopper for the tub did not work, so no bath. The faucet was mislabeled: hot was cold and cold was hot.
