"Close to family and restuarants"
Once I entered my room it was simply nice and I loved my view. I did have a little problem dealing with the bathroom and the sheets. The bed that my husband and I chose the sheets were dirty and had some form of black stains on them. Upon entering the bathroom there was hair on the counter and in the tub. We went to the store to purchase some Lysol […] Disinfectant Spray to clean the bathroom and Tide Bleach Roll on for the sheets. We didn't make a big fuss because we know mistakes happen as we share our own business as well. Sunday Morning we went to breakfast and the food was exquisite. There was one worker who was a bit rude about where we sat. I came down at 9:40am and she informed me that I needed to find me somewhere else to sit because they close at 10 for breakfast and they were about to set up for Brunch. I read the times for breakfast and if I'm not mistaken, breakfast was over at 11. If I was incorrect it wasn't what she said but it was how she said it. Even that those incidents occurred I do find myself coming again because like i stated earlier mistakes happen. "Noisy, old and run down"
We stayed here for a baseball tournament in Desoto. The hotel reminded me of a Motel 6 from the 1970s. Beds were hard. We could hear people people playing around in the gathering areas all night. I arrived with my two daughters thinking we were getting a great getaway location during our Dallas vacation. This place was horrible! Every surface was worn, dirty, sticky and it appeared that dated paint job had been done by amateurs. The pool was ridiculously small for a "fun dome" (the picture makes it look big when infact it is very small), the […] kid's indoor playground was not fit for children (very unkept and dirty) and the ping pong table was a makeshift model that was warped. For the money, I got ripped off!!! The chairs at breakfast were very sticky and dirty. The food was decent, but we were out of there as soon as we could. The only reason we stayed was because we arrived late and my kids were tired. We checked out immediately after breakfast. I have stayed at this hotel for the past five years during the race weekend in Ennis. Each year the hotel seems to be a ittle more rundown. Our bathroom smelled of urine and the carpets were filthy. Nice hotel. Does not look like much from the outside, but is very clean and roomy on the inside. "Nice amenities, but house keeping could be better."
The hotel seemed nice, and have nice amenities. The house keeping doesn't do a very good job at cleaning the rooms. There was soap scum in the tub, the bathroom counters had dirty grout lines. I didn't find it very clean. I also had went to the restaurant part and asked for a plastic fork. I was told they do not give them out, and asked how many I needed. […] I said 3. We didn't get the room we had booked. The air conditioner in the room didn't work. The bathroom had hair everywhere. The elevator was extremly slow for the size of hotel it was. And when i tried telling the front desk at the time of check out, they just blew me off. At this current time i would not recomend this hotel to anyone. The hotel is really easy to get to from the highway. Checking in was easy as well and the hotel staff were very friendly and professional! We stayed for two nights and the first night was not very good. We asked for non-smoking rooms and the first room we were in reaked of smoke. The hotel staff offered to change out all our linen or move us to another […] room. We chose another room and it was much better. The free buffet breakfast was fabulous! And the kids enjoyed the indoor pool. The hotel was clean, but with only one elevator, a little hard to move around. Super loud all day, it takes forever to get to the room and level floor since there is one elevator and no stairs. The pool and hot tub had a ring around it. The breakfast was disappointing. Only 1 elevator - this made trips up and down a waste of time. This is a great hotel for kids - kids are actually welcome here. The pool was clean and the decor was great. "This place needs 2 more elevators"
Fantastic hotel with one of the slowest, most undersized elevators I've ever seen. I worked in a factory that was built in the late 1800's that had a better elevator in it. Buffet is fantastic, rooms are nice, location was perfect for my needs, kids loved the play area. I have stayed here twice and my only issue both times was waiting 5+ minutes for […] the elevator to arrive, then stop on every floor to pick up no one(because they got tired of waiting and took the stairs). "NOT KID FREINDLY"
WE DIDNT GET A ROOM TILL ALMOST 900PM. THEY KNEW THERE WERE ALOT OF BMXERS COMING INTO TOWN AND THEY OVERBOOKED EVERYTHING. ALSO THE NIGHT CLUB DREW IN SOME PEOPLE THAT WERE NOT KID FRIENDLYAutentične Expedia recenzije gostiju
