Older building and facilities geared toward the beach-go-er not the business person. Room felt a bit dated but was clean and comfortable. Gym was a bit run down and typical for a busy hotel. This hotel has a few more ammenities for the kids and I would bring my family on the next trip to hang out while I worked during the day.

This Holiday Inn is more "resort" than hotel. Plenty of parking; beachfront; pool area includes a section with lounge chairs and a row of hammocks; a pool bar you can swim up to on one side. Snack bar sells burgers, hot dogs, other light fare. Inside is find a sauna, gym, two restaurants. Beds were comfortable, pillows big and fluffy, an in-room safe. […] Coffee table in front of sofa bed. Breakfast bar in kitchenette. Full-sized fridge w freezer, stove, microwave, toaster. Nice-sized closet with mirrored doors. Dresser and chest of drawers for clothes. Kitchenette had little counter space but did have a breakfast bar. Roomy bathroom with mirror running length of wall over the sink, a long ledge/shelf above for toiletries. Open shelving under sink for towels or toiletries. etc. Advise bringing a power strip to give yourself more outlets. Balcony has a screen and glass door, two chairs and table. Caution: "oceanfront" does NOT mean directly oceanfront. There are two buildings. One has a view of the pool and ocean beyond it. The "direct oceanfront" building looks directly onto the beach and ocean. Specifically request "Direct Oceanfront" room if that is what you want. A few CONS: --Coffee maker is a cheap 4-cup pod coffee maker. --Hotel needs to 'rake' daily the sand in the pool area to get rid of the trash people bury in the sand Pročitajte više

My children and I go to Ocean City every summer. This by far has been the best hotel we have stayed at. We had plenty to do even on the rainy day. Hotel guests were noisy but friendly. We actually didn't mind the noise. Didn't expect it. Turns out because of the noise we winded up having even more fun cause we bonded with the people who was having all the fun. Great times!

The room was dirty (floor was not vacuumed, one of the towels were dirty, and the tub had hair in it) when we arrived. The fire alarm accidentally was set off ( we were told it was by an employee changing a smoke detector battery) at 12:45 AM and we had to leave the building in a panic, stand outside, wait for fireman, wondering what was going on. My […] heart was pounding. When it was all over, no one came out to explain what happened or apologize or even tell us it was OK to come back inside....unprofessional and inconsiderate in my opinion. Someone, a manager should have came outside an offered an explanation and an apology. We should not have had to find out by asking the next day or hearing rumors by staff leaving the building that night. I was just woken in the middle of the night in a panic, that at the very least deserves an explanation. Than the next morning at 8:00ish the alarm continued to go off and on for about an hour...again no explanation and really annoying. When asked about it at the desk we were told they were having problems with floors 6th-8th alarms and they were sorry. The lights for the up and down arrows on the elevator buttons were not working, all the sprinklers in the rooms were green and/or rusted, our balcony door kept coming off the track and the door to the stairwell was stuck when the fire-alarm went off in the middle of the night...it took a couple of really hard pushes to get it to open...that should not happen in a real fire!!! I stayed here for just one night right before Memorial Day weekend. Though the weather was not great, I was still able to have a great stay at the Holiday Inn. I was traveling solo, but this hotel is still a great option for couples, families, and longer stays. My room had a nice view, plus a sofa/ living area and a kitchen with refrigerator, sink, […] stove/oven, dishwasher, and even dishes. It feels like a home away from home. The room was clean and the reception staff were helpful. The hotel has a lot of great amenities: tennis courts, an outdoor pool, a (small) indoor pool., two hot tubs, a fitness room, even a game room. So even if you have a rainy day like me, there's still a lot to do. Close by is Galaxy 66, Skye Bar, and Indoor and Outdoor Mini Golf courses. I would highly recommend this hotel! when we arrived at 3pm, we had to wait because rooms were not ready. when we finally got to our room, the ac was not working and the maintenance workers were going to be working on the ac as soon as possible. we were able to get another room a little later but all this seemed avoidable at the start. I was dissatisfied overall.

Loved this place!! Beds had pillow top with silky smooth sheets and great pillows. Room was spotless. Kitchen area was well-stocked with essentials (plates, cups, silverware, etc.). We was upset that we did not get our ocean view room. After speaking with the front desk clerk we was told that this hotel does not offer a direct view of the ocean. But other than that we did not have any other complaints.

Our stay with Holiday Inn in Ocean City was spectacular! We arrived on Saturday afternoon after driving almost 4hrs. The front desk staff was great; they made conversation and asked if we were on vacation. We told them we were just getting away for a bit after getting engaged. Everything was clean and my wife and I both thought the bed was comfortable. We stayed during the off season so we only used the indoor pool which wasn't bad. Staff was friendly. Nothing super fancy just a normal clean Holiday Inn. Great rates through Hotels.com. When we go back to Ocean City I would stay here again.

We travelled from New England to Disney during school vacation & wanted to experience the Chesapeke Bay Bridge with the kids so we took a route that included Rt 13 in MD & stayed at Holiday Inn at Ocean City. It was perfect! We had a great time.It was a weekend getaway for my daughter and myself. I was exhausted trying to find a hotel who respected the rights of people who wish to smoke. We were able to get a smoking room and though I do not smoke inside at all, it was just so relaxing to be "allowed" to sit on my balcony with a lovely view of the ocean and be able to smoke […] and to have my morning coffee and cigarette on the balcony. There was no cell reception so I could not get any messages or calls. The room was ok. The first day no one came to clean the room while I was out and had to wait. The towels that were replaced in my room were all stained. Very shady people staying at the hotel and they were all very noisy

Stayed here April 2013. Booked this hotel based on the reviews in Hotel.com and my postive experience (for the most part) with Holday Inns. Check was quick and front office staff were very nice. This is an older hotel were clean and apprears the bathrooms were recently updated. Staff in the restaurant were very nice and service was excellent. Food, […] for breakfast, was average. We booked a room with two double beds. Was suprised to find the ours had a fire place! It's one of the electric ones but it came iin handy as we had cold windy weather there in early April. Only negative was that housekeeping missed us two days in a row. Not sure what happened here but when this was mentioned to the front desk, housekeeping brought a fresh supplies of towels. All in all, our stay was expected and we enjoyed our weekend in Ocean City. Should be decide to return to OC, we would consider staying here again. Pročitajte više
