It's next to the freeway but the sound did not bother us. Each room had a refrigerator and a microwave. It was about 20 minutes from downtown. The exercise room had the usual cardio. There were no free weights but there's a multistation typical machine. The free breakfast every morning is your typical breakfast. Disappointed as I walked through the door -- an unclean odor in the lobby. The carpet in the room was utterly disgusting, filthy, and extremely dirty with spots. My pet walked around continously smelling the floor. I was concerned he would mark due to the smell and I was afraid to walk on it without slippers. The coffee maker was dirty and rusty. the young ladies at the front desk went out of their way to assist us.check in was quick and the rooms were huge,big enough for 3x 36" crates plus luggage.the hotel itself was very quiet.breakfast the first day was incredible,eggs,toat,biscuit and gravy,jogurt,fruit,cereal,bagels,waffles coffee ,tea,milk,juice.the second day however the biscuits were […] rock hard.some doors will not open with the card but overall i give this hotel 5 stars.the wifi was very slow also but when my husband had to do work from the computer he was told he could use the computer downstairs.they had also an open bar which made my husband very happy. Room was clean and comfortable, but lacked acoustic isolation from adjoining room, where occupants watched TV and talked at all hours, and had a little yapping dog. Perfectly adequate for travel stay. Duvets too thick for room temp options. fULL breakfast so much better than normal pitiful LQs. Steak and Shake right across parking lot. Would stay here again. "Comfortable Beds"
The only thing keeping them from a suberb rating is that I requested a ground floor room and did not get one. They stated one was not available but I find that hard to believe due to the amount of time in advance I made the reservation. Other than that, it was very pleasing experience.
