I never stay in hotels this nice, so everything was great. Really nice room that was equally impressively decorated, and an amazing shower with a rain shower head and regular. Everything you could want, I could live there if there was a refridgerator in the room.

This is my second stay there; hotel staff is extremely attentive and willing to help. Bed, pillows and shower are great. Breakfast should have a wide variety of foods, nevertheless, it's much better than other hotels in the area. Free parking and Free internet, definitely a plus.

As the title expresses, I enjoyed my stay at the Crowne Plaza. The facilities were very nice, the staff were very friendly, and the room was comfortable. All this was great but I was very surprised to find that they didn't have full-size ironing boards in each room??? We rented two rooms here when we ran the OC half marathon. Hotel is nice, modern and well kept. Amazing shower head! Comfy mattresses. Did not eat at the restaurant but it looked nice. There is a $10 parking fee for just the regular uncovered parking lot. The stay was very convenient, the pricing was good, the room service was good, the room was clean and very comfy. Only bad thing I can say is that I waited for an hour in the airport to be picked up - Other than that, the stay was not less than excellent.

I stayed for 4 days and I must say the service was very professional and prompt. The hotel was beautiful inside, smelled wonderful and quite comfy. The bar was an added perk, they even let us take our drinks to the room. Highly recommend.

The hotel was very comfortable. The only problem was some noise caused by visitors which the hotel staff dealt with swiftly. They had a strict policy about noise and second warning meant eviction from the room for excessive noise. I thought the hotel was nice for the price of the room. Only one issue. when I arrived at my room the air conditioner was broken. I called the front desk and they promptly changed my room. other than that, it was a nice overnight stay.

Warm and welcoming front desk staff, clean and spacious room. HOWEVER, the room next door to me had some issue with the pipes--whenever the neighbors took a shower, the pipes made a HORRIBLY LOUD noise--at 7am in the morning! Also, the ice machine is located on the 1st floor! I was dying of thirst when I woke up in the morning and called the front desk […] to find out where the ice was. NO MENTION was made of it being on the 1st floor. After walking up and down the hallway in my NIGHTGOWN, another guest told me there was only one near the lobby. When I called ROOM SERVICE to request a pitcher or water with ice, I was given attitude from the gentleman who brought it up. "We typically don't DO this..." The hotel is located right off of the 405 - great location for biz traveler; parking was free. The room looked like it had very recently been renovated - very upscale. The bed & pillows were amazing!! I used the gym, I would have used the outdoor pool/hot tub, but didn't bring a suit. I saw another woman swimming laps, so the pool must have been heated. […] I had a perfectly cooked veggie omelet in the restaurant (my bkfst was included). I booked this hotel through my company. The package included parking, internet and breakfast. Don't book here. go to Hilton's across the street for better service. I didn't get my breakfast when I first checked in. Front desk made me feel that I was crazy for asking for free breakfast. The next day, I had to bring my laptop to show them my booking. […] Then the breakfast service is really slow. I asked if I can order ahead or have them deliver, they don't. I was running late one day and asked if I can have breakfast to go, I was told no. So embarrassing. Also, I didn't get help with my baggage. I was just asking where the trolly was so I can use it. Quite happy with my stay! Excellent management! I'm often hesitant to book leisure stays via third party discount sites because some hotels (*cough* Fairmont in Newport Beach) use these sites to trap consumers by giving them their WORST rooms possible and will claim to have no other rooms available unless you upgrade for a substantial fee. Happy to […] report this was not the case at Crowne Plaza! The hotel was not full and they were kind enough to give me a nice room on the 4th floor facing the pool upon request. (Tip: The pool view is beautiful and quiet enough during off season but it can be loud if hotel is at capacity/summertime when kids are on break. Parking lot facing rooms may be quieter but you give up the view.) Convenient location right off the 405 freeway. Lovely pillow top bedding and the shower is DIVINE! Sink drain was plugged but thankfully the bf was able to fix it without me having to call someone or switch rooms. Wonderful for romantic getaways or just a bit of pampering. Hotel is old looking from the exterior. But the rooms are updated and current. $10 parking fee is too high. I reserved 2 rooms together. 2 floor hallway carpet was stained, elevator was dirty. Pool ran out of towels had to ask the front desk for more. Room wasn't ready when we arrived after 3 pm, they asked us to wait by the pool while the room was […] getting cleaned and someone would grab us but after an hour no one came by instead I asked the front desk if my rooms were ready and they said "yes". When we got to the room, I was very happy with the room, and the bathroom was wonderful. A huge problem with the my room, the peep hole was installed backward, from outside of my door you can see me in the room and I could see the outside of my room since it was backwards. I had my 15 year old daughter and her 5 friends traveling with us. I was very upset about this problem, someone could have looked into my room and saw everything that was happening. It could have been a huge lawsuit. I bought this issue to attention to Frank front desk night manager, he was very understanding and sent a handy man to change the peephole around and it was taken cre of that moment. I absolutely loved the Crowne Plaza! I'd never heard of their chain before, so I was a little worried about where I was going to end up staying. But the front desk staff were so friendly, and very able to provide us with directions or 24 hour delivery places. Our room was really nice - the bathroom is HUGE with a walk in shower and a separate toilet. […] The whole room was just a treat to walk into, and the bed was really comfortable. The view was gorgeous, rooftops but the sunset and pool were pretty. The pool and patio are privately accessed by guests only, so it was nice and peaceful, very clean, and totally relaxing. We were able to sleep in without interruption, run out for a quick lunch, and found our room already tidied. They even have a computer with printer available for guests. On top of it all, it was extremely easy to find from the highway. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone needing somewhere to stay in Newport. The Crowne Plaza is conveniently located 5-15 minutes from everything. It's a comfortable, classy, affordable spot to stay for just about anything you would want to do. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. There are dozens of restaurants within 5 minutes from burger joints to fancy steak houses. We stayed for a weekend to see a show at the Segerstrom […] Center which was only 3 minutes away and very easy to get to, but most of the visitors seemed to be business men. There are several meeting rooms and comfortable gathering areas. We travel to Disneyland with our family every year and as we would definitely consider this hotel. It's much cheaper that the hotels in Anaheim and you still get the great quality. If you visit the restuarant and order from the menu the omelets are wonderful, but we didn't have a great buffet experience. The buffet french toast was dry, the bacon was soggy and the orange juice tastes really strange. I paid extra each night to include breakfast with the room and was disappointed the first morning because the buffet was terrible. We ordered off the menu the second morning and noticed that my omelet was cheaper off the menu than the extra breakfast fee I had paid. Other than that, the hotel is great. Andrew gives AMAZING customer service, the other staff experiences were slightly above average. I would stay again, I just won't pay the breakfast add on price. :) Pročitajte više

Worst hotel we have stayed in for a long time. Keys locked us out of the room every day and even had to stay in another room one night at the staff could not open our door. We also had water dropping off the roof onto our bed another day. We had to move. the room is on par with many 4+ star hotels, and the quality overall is shown throughout. it wasn't the late 90's experience that i was expecting. definitely would stay here again for work travel.
