Enjoyed my stay. Rooms were well kept and the free continental breakfast was great. Enjoyed having a sofa in the room and the internet access never went down. A bit off the path from the Research Park but still within 5 -6 miles so drive time was short. "Staff Charaters"
The staff were very friendly and helpful like they've been your friends; breakfast was fantastic! complete with fruits, milk, yogurt, pancakes, fruit juices, pastries, and service. The 24 hr coffee at the lobby was really helpful during nighttime and free time.
"Good place to stay"
I had a broken leg and so had to have a handicap room. Good accomodations, easy to get around in bathroom in a wheelchair. Hotel personnel were very helpful and cheerful whenever I needed assistance.

"It's a Conference Center, not just a Hotel"
It was bigger than typical HI Express properties. My only gripe was that we were on a 2nd floor of a secondary building, and there was no elevator. Seems a little cheap based on that. Breakfast was substantial and there was a "happy hour" from 5p-7p but we missed it. We'd stay there again if we return to Huntsville.

We travel to Huntsville fairly frequently. This hotel is close to the bar we do business with. It is the only one on University Drive that, in my opinion, is worth staying at. There are certainly cheaper hotels in that area, but non I feel comfortable at. The rooms are amazingly clean, fresh linens and comfortable beds are the norm. We did have on […] one occasion a housekeeping member who ignored the do not disturb sign and was very rude. The hotel took care of our stay, as well as the next. I think the true mark of a good business is how they handle a situation, as there will always be the human error factor. "Great rate, smelled gooded, and very clean hotel"
My wife made the comment the room it did not have the normal hotel smell, which is a good thing. The room was very clean and there was a great breakfast buffet bar. The only downside is the pool is outdoors and closes during the winter time. Great place.

"they aim to please."
We had a couple of little issues when we checked in and they were willing to work with us. The management went over and above to make sure we were satisfied. Kudos Charles.
"Comfortable hotel for the money"
The sleeping room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had the expected amenities (hair dryer, toiletries, adequate towels, etc.). Wireless connection to the internet worked fine. "Not What I expected"
I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express before, but this was not what I was accustomed to in a Holiday Inn Express. I was disappointed in the over all hotel. It had 2 floors with no elevator. There are two buildings, a main building and an annex building. The breakfast is served in only one building, not both, so you will have to walk over to the […] building with the breakfast..... The hallways were extremely hot. (mind you no elevator). The room was clean and the air worked well. Beds were clean and the staff were friendly.(I forgot my shower cap and the gentleman taking out the trash offered to walk over to the main building and get one for me.)
