"Stinky room"
Supposed to be none smoking room, guess it wasnt for the hundreds of people before me. Wow what a stench, left a light on all night. Just in case. Positive was the hotel staff, very friendly staff
the room was clean but we had a plumbing promblem and had to be moved to another room witch was fine but than the second room the toilet overflowed but the night attendent didnt clean it up he just left a bunch of towels there but the floor was still wet.

This hotel is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, The room smells like mildew mold is growing on the baseboards, I was told it has heated pool but it was about 40 degrees. carpet is disgusting, do not waste your time or money. Horrible
"Good Location, Good Price - In Need of Upgrades"
The loation of the hotel was ideal for me. The rooms can be noisey, especially those facing the major intersecting highways. The room was clean, but in desperate need of upgrades. The carpet was old, stained, and buckling. The bathtub was discolored from years of use. Lighting in the room was, at best, poor. I think it is time to replace bedding, including […] the mattreses. We live in DadeCity but we grew up in that area in a little town called Safety Harbor so we went on line and looked at some hotels and we saw this one and we thought well this one looks good. "La Quinta hotel in st petersburg"
Rugs were very filthy ,bed sheets were stained , webs on every corner of the room last night before checking out when we entered the room a broom was left on our bed and no towels in the bathroom I will never recommend this place to anyone

Centrally located for where we were going to be. People were very accommodating. Our only complaint is that they never had regular coffee, always decaf.

We stay here because of proximity to my mom's house and the price. Best thing about this hotel is the nice reservation area and breakfast. Worse thing is the smallness of the toilet/tub area. We like the fact that the sink area is separate from the tub area because at times my husband and I are sharing a room with a sibling or daughter.

"Have been to better for the price."
The outside looked fine but the room was small and the breakfest left a lot to be desired. The beds looked clean but after close inspection we found bed bugs. I have stayed in many of the La Quinta hotels and was not impressed with this one.

We liked the noon check in and out time. The room was a little musty but we carry room deoderizer. The shower was very hot and the bed was very comfortable. The TV channel selection was poor and the breakfast was not what we had experienced in other La Quintas. Adequate but not what we had expected. We also like to be able to travel with our bird. Clean rooms, courteous staff and centrally located for a affordable price. I would stay there again if I were to visit Tampa/Pinellas park area.

A friend of mine stayed here for two nights to visit some friends in St. Pete, It was very convenient and for the price well worth it. The only real problem I had was the room was a little musty. All in all I would definitely stay here again.

First room we were given had black mold, second room was much better. Parking was a bit of a nuisance but Bob Evans next door was nice. Limited number of electrical outlets in the room was a problem for us. We didn't partake of the cont. breakfast provided.

"Pinellas Park La Quinta Inn"
The front desk associates were very helpful and professional and went out of their way to print out my boarding passes for my flight the next day. The room was priced right and as comfortable however the bathroom looked dingy and the shower curtain had mold on it in several places. The location was good for my stay, close to the beach and airport.

About 5 miles to the Tropicana field, a straight shot. I was able to bring my dog too. Nice, clean place!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was always clean. Only problem was a musty smell coming from the AC. Traffic was an issue at first until I found a way to go out the back of the hotel to avoid it. Overall, it was pretty good for the cheap price.

"Excellent for the Price and Convenient Location"
I was surprised to find the rooms very clean and the bed quality is not bad in comparison to the cost of the stay. The swimming pool was not very impressive, little dirty, and no jacuzzi, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. I asked for a deposit box and they offered one immediately. "Right off 19!"
This La Quinta is defintely an older hotel, but it was very clean and the room didnt have that hotel room smell. The A/C worked wonderfully!! The price was right, and the staff was very friendly. What more can you ask for?? We will 100% stay there next time we are over in St Pete visiting family

The room was perfect size for my family however the bathroom was extremely small. The area was nice and was right next to restaurants and shopping center. I will use this hotel again.

When we got to the room, at first all looked OK...old but OK. We unpacked and then we walked into the bathroom, there were dirty towels and a shower that was dirty (hair). We were exhausted, I just cleaned the shower and put the dirty towels in a pile. When we pulled down the covers on the beds, the sheets were fine but the blankets had cigarette burns […] and tears in them. Be advised that with this hotel, you get what you pay for. I paid a decent price for one room at a hotel in a pretty good location. However, there was an additional "resort fee" upon check-in that was not expressed when paying online nor included in the price. When I asked what it was for and what it included, the girl at the desk had a hard time answering […] me, so I'm still skeptical and unsatisfied that it really is a legitimate service. The room was satisfactorily clean and neat, but nothing special. Again, you get what you pay for, I just ask that it be clean and not stink. As with most hotel rooms of this caliber, it smelled musty when we arrived but propping the door for a few minutes helped with that. However, just so you know, the back of the hotel where our room was is apparently a racetrack for large trucks late at night and early in the morning. Perhaps they were stocking and delivering to the hotel, but why they had to race by GUESTS' ROOMS at those hours is beyond me. It certainly disturbed our rest and was an unwelcome and inexplicable nuisance. "cheap and that's what you get"
We reserved a no smoking room. As soon as we opened the door, the room wreaked of smoke. Mold was obvious in the bathroom. This part of the hotel was old, dowdy, and not maintained. We were put in another room the second night, and that room was much better. Unfortunately, the damage was done; all of our belongings smelled from smoke. For the money the room was a great bargin. The shower was a bit tricky and we needed a TV remote that worked, but when we called for help it arrived quickly. I would stay there again, it was a great value.

Nice room, but guests running up and down hallway and a 1:30 AM strnager knocking on all the doors made fro poor sleep. Call to the front desk was answered after 13 rings. Won't stay there again, no matter how economical it is.
