Very happy with the hotel look and convenience of the location. Only down fall is that the hotel is under construction and their was a lot of noise early in the morning. Also, the hotel service staff (room clean-up) came very early to service the room. Overall, good hotel.

The Sheraton Virginia Beach was being remodeled during our stay. The pool and the fitness room were not available to use. It was noisey and inconvenient with all of the construction equipment. I am sure once the remodel is complete it would be very enjoyable.

Under renovation this Sheraton is a few blocks away from the boardwalk and all its attractions. It has access to the beach. The pool area was closed for repair when I visited. The hotel doesnt offer too much in food choices.

Sheriton is a big name in the hotel industry all over the world. This is why I was surprised when our sheets were dirty, the rental pay tv was not up and running the water didn't work the first few hours. And there was so much construction our valentines day of relaxation was ruined.

the only pool in the hotel was closed. Neither the hotel nor did hotels.com warn us about it

Nice staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Great location. Oceanfront view. watch the people, watch the ships and best yet watch the dolphins. Indoor pool needs some work. All in All: worthy

The Sheraton's suite was very spacious and clean. The location was perfect, right on the beach with a beautiful view of the water. We had breakfast on the patio and it was very private and peaceful.

Worked! I did expect more, but adequate.

For the price we paid for the room in the second week of September, I was very unhappy. Upon arrival after check-in there was not a luggage cart to be found and the hotel staff was of no assistance. We were given room 221, most would figure this is on the second floor, but not here. After carrying ALL of our luggage to the second floor and not finding […] the room. We had to go to the front desk and ask where the room was to find out it was on the first floor. When we finally arrived in our room, we were displeased about how small the room was. The room also had a strong musty odor and the carpet was damp. I asked for air freshener and the hotel staff came and sprayed some sort of liquid on the carpets. It did not help the smell. I would have requested another room, but we had the last room with an oceanfront view. I would not reccomend this hotel. Pročitajte više

Good hotel, slightly dated, but for the price it is worth it.

We did not know that the hotel was located right next to a construction site and right beneath jet flight plans. The planes fly over all day long and are very loud. It's cool once or twice, but constantly is annoying. Also, the pool overlooked a huge hotel being constructed. It is not the most scenic and the crane made me nervous that it would drop […] something. The room had a terrible smell. I'm guessing there was water damage from the hurricane. Pročitajte više

The view from the oceanfront room was spectacular--but the room sucked. The couch was ragged and bed linen had a blood stain that I told them at the front desk about...then they remade the bed with the same cover. Our visit started with us unloading the vehicle and waiting 15 minutes for the elevator to arrive at the Lobby. Basically, the elevators are EXTREMELY slow and there aren't enough elevators to accomodate the number of guests staying at the hotel. We had requested a cot and it never appeared in our room. Our tire had been vandalized in the Sheraton parking […] lot. When the hotel had been notified, no manager attempted to speak with us about the situation. did not get ocean front view that was requested instead got pool side view have been coming here to this motel for off and on for 25 years never again to say you are getting one type of room and to get another is by business,. Did not even get any help from front desk all they said was they were full and could not help. We book this room for oceanfront […] and paid for oceanfront in plenty of time. I was very dissappointed with this hotel especially for the price for the room, We were on the top floor it was extremely hot and never got below 80 degrees. I asked for a fan, first one was broke and the 2nd was so dirty I couldn't believe that they would have even brought that to our room. The Sheraton Virginia Beach is in a great location and has the potential to be a great hotel. But, from the moment we tried to check in (and were given a vague answer about when our room might actually be available), it was a series of near misses. With one or two exceptions, hotel staff were distinctly un-helpful when faced with the most simple questions. […] The facility seems crowded and over-taxed - elevator waits are long and restaurant temperature control is awful. We are very pleased in booking this hotel. Great location. We drove about 4 hours and arrived at around 11am something. To our surprise, we could check in without waiting for say 2 or 3pm. We were also provided with valet parking. The only complain I have is the water in the indoor pool is much colder than the outdoor pool.

This was our first time using Hotels.com and it was easy to use. However, I don't know if it was posted & we didn't see it or maybe it was not posted at all but this hotel allows pets. The room that we first had smelled like urine & poop. It was awful. I know this is not Hotel.com fault....but just letting you know. We called down to the desk & they […] were VERY helpful & promptly switched us to another room. The second room was nice & clean smelling. The layout of the hotel was confusing somewhat because you couldn't just walk out the back door to get to the boardwalk and the pool was to the side of the hotel near the street not near the beach, disappointing. Overall, there were good points...the staff very friendly & helpful...but dogs everywhere & there was a wedding going on & people getting drunk & out of hand & fussing in the hall at 3a.m. slamming doors. A friend of mine, and I, decided we needed a much overdue road trip to getaway. I booked the trip through hotels. com and was very impressed with the rate we were offered. Upon entering the room we were both overwhelmed with how beautiful and clean it was (which I cannot say about many other places I have stayed.) The bathrooms had marbled flooring, […] the shower made me feel like I was at a spa, and the view from the balcony was simply breath-taking. The topper for me was when i pulled back the sheets and got into the bed... that bed was sooooo comfortable I did not want to get up each morning. I would definitely recommend the Sheraton to anyone who desires quality hotel service and the next time we go down to Virginia Beach, VA I believe that's where we will be staying once again. Our stay was ok. The room had a nice view. When we arrived the balcony had been left dirty and was also furnished with cheap plastic chairs. Outdoor pool towels were not available, but finally after a half hour wait a nice young man did help us find clean pool towels.

the in room service is quick and professional, staff is very polite. and also very helpful

I enjoyed my stay here, it was really nice. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, great service!! They have comfortable beds, clean rooms and it was located right on the beach. I didn't have an oceanfront room, but still had a great view of the beach! I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was great. Location was awesome, ocean view and pool view were amazing. The hotel had everything I needed including lots of towels for the pool area. The room was clean and had enough space for all our stuff including a crib in which they provided to us for free No free wifi. Allthough they did have computers that you could use. There were […] 4 of them and most of the time I was able to just jump right on them. Also they had a printer. One thing I didn't like was when I asked the front desk person for information about the aquarium they directed to the brochure counter which was tucked away on the first floor. They didn't have any infornation on it and then when I asked for directions and if it was worth going they just directed me to the computers to search online. Also, the restaurant was very good. Our family stayed 2 nights at the Sheraton less than one week ago. Our room was ready by 2:30 in the afternoon so we had more time to enjoy the ocean -- which was a plus. There are 3 asthmatics in our family and having had bad luck at a more cheap hotel in Ocean City, MD, we were reluctant to spend any more time in hotels so that is why we read the […] reviews of guests before choosing to try this hotel. I was so impressed that we had no incidents with allergies/asthma at this hotel. The beds are very cushy (we were not used to that but were ok with it after the second night). The view from oceanfront is spectacular. The maid made our beds, brought linens and vacuumed up the sand we drug in. Love the fact that this is truly a non-smoking hotel. Couldn't hear much noise from other guests. The staff was really friendly that we dealt with. I would definitely come back here again. Pročitajte više

i am sorry for all who enjoy this hotel but i went with just my daughter and myself and the only miror was in the bathroom and ther was no way for 2 people to get ready at once i have never seenthis before

There are a million great hotels on the boardwalk in Virginia Beach. This place is not one of them. Terrible service at the front desk. They were rude when we spoke with them face-to-face, and no one answered the phones when we called from our room (the valets were great, though!). Our room had a cigarette butt in the bathtub when we arrived - this […] after waiting for hours for our room to be ready, despite being told "no problem" when calling ahead for early check-in. Pools were dirty, as was the lobby, bathrooms, etc. Restaurant was good for breakfast and lunch. There are much better places to stay on the boardwalk for both families and couples. Having read other negative reviews we weren't expecting a good experience,,,but we were pleasantly surprised! Staff were so nice and efficient,,,comfortable clean rooms,,,pools small but clean,,,the only negative was a very long wait for elevators.
