I had never been to Steamboat Springs before but knew I wanted to be close to the ski lifts. I don't think you could get any closer! Great hotel with all the conveniences. Everyone was wonderful!

I booked the Sheraton with little prior knowleadge of it, and I was thrilled with the outcome. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And, you'd be hard-pressed to find anything more convenient in Steamboat - it's TRULY a ski-in-ski-out hotel, and it has on-site ski rentals and lift tickets. I definitely recommend it.

Disappointed hot tub was closed all week during skiing holiday especially as that was one of key selling points.

One of the main reasons we wanted to stay at the Sheraton was because they had outdoor hot tubs and pool. The pool was a long walk from your room, and unsheltered/protected/no furniture, very uninviting. The hot tubs were on the 2nd floor (no where near the outdoor pool) and when we arrived they said they were "out of order" but should be working "any […] day". When we went to examine them, they were under major construction, no chance they were going to open again for a month or so. They were tented with construction crews doing concrete work, etc. A total war zone. They didn't offer to comp us in any way. We were very disappointed. I think we should have gotten a food or drink credit because the hot tubs weren't working. Then we asked for a late checkout (the hotel was NOT busy), and they said they are only allotted 5 late checkouts and those had already been given out. overall, the front desk staff was cold, unwilling to assist or do anything to help you. On the other hand, the bell hops and guys in the ski shop were incredibly helpful and friendly. The ski in, ski out location is awesome. The Sheraton was a great hotel. The location can't be beat and the service was impeccable. The staff was great from the time we stepped into the hotel till we checkout.

We were disappointed that the hot tub didn't work, not just for a day or two, but out of service when we arrived on December 30 and they hope to have it working again by the end of January. Hotel and staff were great. Staff were extremely helpful, polite, professional and courteous. Hotel looks great after the refurbishment. Had a fantastic time. Superb for skiing. Incredibly user friendly.

Everything was good except that one time we try to get a shuttle to downtown. There was no shuttle available.

Very nice hotel! Our room was on the 5th floor overlooking the city of Steamboat, watching the coming and going of the busy people. We came in December to ski and the Christmas lights from the city were beautiful to look at from the balcony of our room. The balcony had two chairs and a table, with enough room to stand as well! The room had two queen […] beds that were extremely comfortable, nice big TV. There is a closet with an ironing board and about 5-7 hangers on a rod, with a full length mirror on the door. There was a mini fridge and coffee maker. Also had 2 baggage holders which were nice, as there were two of us in the room. The bathroom had a sink and mirror outside of the bathroom, which I think is nice when several people are getting ready at the same time. The bathroom had the toilet and shower with a tub, shower head pressure was nice and the curtain came on a curved rod so that the curtain never touches you! The only complaint we had was the noise coming from the hallways was quite loud, crying babies, people walking, dogs barking, could be heard very clearly. Other than that the staff was very friendly and helpful! The shuttle took us downtown to the restaurants and shops and picked us up within ten minutes of calling! The hotel is a five minute walk to the slopes and with the hotel keeping your skis or snowboard for you makes the day a breeze! Love this hotel, would stay again every time I come to Steamboat! Location was great! Plenty for adults and children combined. My children were equally sad about leaving as I was. Had such a wonderful time (not too mention the white Christmas) that we've decided to make this an annual vacation.

Great Location, Super helpful and friendly staff, clean comfortable well styled rooms. I highly recommend staying in the hotel if you have the chance. The only downsides for our stay was the hotel Hot tub was out of service and the hot water in the shower changed temperature often.

Excellent location. Gym is clean and all machines were up to date and in working order. Room was clean and nicely appointed although rather small for four people. Dog-friendly. Front staff accommodated our request to change room due to noisy neighbors. Unfortunately, hot tubs were not operational but outdoor pool was.

We stayed at this hotel for our anniversary. It was a great experience. The only negative is a $20 per day fee for parking and two bottles of water. We didn't know about this prior to our stay. However, we would go back. Nice hotel with friendly staff. We also enjoyed the view from our balcony!

We really only used the room as a home base for after day travel. The front desk staff and Bellman were very freindly and helpful. The one thing that I really noticed different about this room was that there were plenty of places to plug in devices. Even behind the bed were open outlets that were easy to get to. Even for the summer it is a great location on the mountain. Within walking distance of a couple of resturants and the lifts up the mountain. Golf course is not with the hotel, but is close by and the spa was wonderful. Would book here again.

First time staying at a Sherton Hotel and will never stay in one again. The Frig had a broken knob so we could not turn it on. My husband is a dieabetic and we needed a working Frig. Maintence was sent to the room, instead of fixing the knob, he used his pliers to turn the Frig all the way up. He stated it would not freeze anything. within one day […] everything was frozen and had to be thrown out. I have NEVER had a hotel room kept that dirty. The maid came in each day and it appeared she had not been there. Trash left in the room. Nothing put away, floor not vacumed. The room was very clean and the hotel staff was very helpful. The parking garage was full when we arrived so we had to park on the lower level. There was no ramp to the elevators only stairs and had to carry our suitcases and bags up the stairs.

Lobby is beautiful, hallways and rooms dark, old and a bit rundown. The pool was nice. Room was not as big as expected, the "village view" was actually a view of the top of a roof and parking garage. When we inquired about it we were told that we just couldn't see the village because we were in a lower level room. No upper level rooms were available […] and there was no rate adjustment for the poor view. We thought from the website that continental breakfast was provided with the room fee, but alas, after having been served, it cost us $50 for a breakfast of cold cereal, muffins, orange juice and coffee... the "hot items" such as eggs and bacon--which we did not have-- were extra. When asked if we enjoyed our stay we remarked on some of these disappointments and were told, "oh, we're sorry about that." Great effort on service recovery. In a hotel, I want: Clean rooms, good service, up to date remodeling and reasonable prices. I got all four in the case of the Sheraton resort. We stay at all kinds of luxury hotels around the world. Some improvement in the room service menu and deserts will make this hotel a very strong force. Most important of all lived the cleanliness and the local people who worked there and provided us with the best service. They all spoke english! I love that. Thank you. We travel all the time and I can honestly say this is the best stay we've had at a hotel to date. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the hotel was beautiful and conveniently located and the free shuttle was a nice touch! We loved the room, the views, the outdoor hot tubs were a hit. Everything was perfect.
