"Nice location"
The bathroom was not cleaned daily and the view I had was horrible. I wish I could've stayed at the continental hotel instead who was across the street. The food was great and people were nice. Lobby is pretty.

"Westin Camino Real Guatemala City"
Nice clean and hospitable hotel. The staff was very friendly and kind. Nicely decorated and comfortable.
"Pretty good, but might want to test alternatives"
This is a pretty good place but it's worth seeing if you can find a better place in Zone 10. The $10 extra for Internet is a big drawback as is the lack of climate control in the rooms. The jacuzzi is great and the rooms themselves were very comfortable but I'm not sure if this is the best deal in the area.

The Camino Real is still one of the best places to stay in Guatemala City - but it is dated. One specific is the all too common use of duvets in hotels - apparently quite popular but I find them too heavy. They should offer an option

"Westin in Guat. City"
What can I say....it's a WESTIN! Beautiful lobby. Great pool area. Employees who are there to serve you. It's as good a location as you can find in G. City.
What can I say, it's a Westin? I've stayed in other Westins and this one lives up to the standard. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. On the downside, there was no concierge to help and give advice on booking shuttles. The reception desk was very helpful, however.

"Not great"
Not bad either. But for a pricey hotel this place had some problems. Some, such as power cuts and iffy water supply, might be the fault of the city government rather than the hotel. But there were a few other things that it ought to do better: 1. The (very expensive) internet was very temperamental 2. The walls in my room were so paper-thin that I was […] woken by nextdoor's alarm clock 3. There weren't many tables at breakfast, so I had to wait a while to be seated - a real pain when you're running to a meeting 4. My room smelled bad - a mixture of old cigarettes unconvincingly disguised with air "freshener". And you can't open the windows. All in all, for a hotel of this price it was a bit of a letdown. "Beatifull Place but food..."
The Hotel in Guatemala city was great but the food was not what we expected. That week they had Colombian food. Nothing personal but we were waiting for autentic, local "native" food. The price was a little "high" for family and a lot of friends. We had to go to another hotel to enjoy "chapina" food.

Nos encanto lnuestra estancia en este hotel Westin. Desde nuestra llegada nos recibio la Srita Maria del Rosario C. a quien solicitamos un upgrade al piso ejecutivo el cual estaba a cargo de Maria, quien nos dio una excelente atencion. Además, por culpa nuestra olvidamos una bolsita con objetos de valor, lo cual nos lo informaron de inmediato via e-mail […] y lo recuperamos inmediatamente. Fue realmente una experiencia maravillosa.
